I want a good DPS build just for a while. My guild is letting me tag along with our "A" team in kara just to get geared up. I would like to at least help with the dps while I free load. I dont want to spend a great deal of $ on weapons or gear because I will tank later on. I was wondering what all you fury warriors out there use as a basic rotation. It looks like most of the good abilities in the fury tree will break cc in instances.. What is the basic technique. I would appriciate any help.

Thankx-

There's a plethora of information there ;)

Problem with us crazy DPS warriors is Whirlwind is a common part of our swing cycle. You need to get a feel for the range of your WW. What I tend to do is after my slam, if there's CC mobs behind me, I'll step thru the mob (by the tank) and WW... that's usually a safe way of doing it (unless the mob Cleaves or has a Frontal cone attack). I'd go with something that has Improved Heroic strike in it... for those times where CC mobs are about.

*edit* Oh here's a good gear site, it'll help with gemming and gear
MaxDPS

There's also nothing wrong with hitting Battlegrounds for some gear. There are some useful items in there (weapons for starters). I see you're ranked in an arena team... those of course are better, but take longer IMO. I'd hit up the BGs and just grind out honor.

Thanks. I cant see myself being able to get comfortable enough to use wirlwind, cleave, etc.. while there are cc mobs.

I can't blame you. Better safe than sorry lol. I tend not to WW either unless I'm sure I won't un-CC anything. Un-CC something once, just say sorry and don't do it again. Un-CC something many times, you'll get booted lol.

However if you see the tank Thunder Clapping or a pally tank AoE tanking chances are you're free to WW.
