First of all I would like to say Hello to all you warriors. This is my first post but have been reading these forums for some time now.

I am currently not playing due to military duties however, I will be home soon and I am going to level my warrior from 63 to 70 before the next expansion.

I am just curious as to what spec everyone plans on going to level to 80. That and what would be the better way to level?

1. Group up and do quests?
2. Group up and run instances?
3. Solo quest?

I was not around when the last expansion was released so I had to play catch up. This time I will be there when every one else goes to level.

Thank you all in advance for your replies, and suggestions. If I missed something and you know a better way to level I am listening. :)

I will be using Fury DW to level I think. Two 2-handed weapons sounds tres sexy, especially now they took the speed debuff off. I got a few two handed weapons saved up from my Arms stage to use. Galdiators Bonecrusher (executioners), Singing Crystal Axe (mongoose) and Despair (just Savergy right now) Otherwise I will do whatever is going in my guild or solo.

DW Fury, definitely.

I'm MS Arms right now and while watching those big crits roll across the screen every few seconds is nice, I still prefer the faster playstyle of dual-wield.

What about the leveling parts? What do you think will be the suggested way to level? I was thinking instances and maybe just go prot. Any suggestions would be great like I said my Warrior is only 63. He will be 70 before the x-pac.

i prefer instances over anything else in the game. better gear, fast exp, more fun (imo), and the fact that i'll stay prot makes it a no-brainer to me.

EDIT: oh, and rep :)

This is what I was looking for. Does everyone agree this is probably the fastest way to level? I mean the gear and rep are bonuses, but overall should I do this or quest grind?

I levelled as mostly prot (about 11-5-whatever - can't remember exact spec atm) since the mid 50s. Yes you do level a little bit slower than arms or fury, but there is not a massive amount in it really. Simply do what you enjoy doing. If you like tanking most then spec a prot-esque build and run most instances. If you prefer wielding a great big sword then go 2h and watch the massive numbers fly across your screen. If you like to be a whirling dervish of blades then go fury and blast away. It's simply about what you like doing. I personally tried levelling as arms for a while and hated the fact that I'd swing my weapon and then have to wander off and make a cup of tea before I swung it again.

I mostly ran solo. I'd stay in /4. watching who was after what, and join if I felt like it, but for the most part I ran solo and enjoyed almost every minute of it.

Also, I think you could be able to tank pre-80 instances without being prot. A total n00b tanked auchenay crypts last night and we had no prob.
