Am I crazy?Follow

I really didnt think my gear was that bad, but I was Joining a heroic SP run to get some rep for that dammed head enchant, and after i was summoned i was promptly kicked and the leader whispered me saying my gear was " Way to low for heroics", am i crazy for lippin the guy off after that?

Like i know my gear isnt the best, need better enchants, more hit and AP, but seriously i should at least be able to do heroics right?

That leader was an idiot. If anything, you're OVERgeared for heroics.

Yes, you are more than geared for heroics. You should be doing fine in them. More than likely your leader was an elitest or some ****. Don't sweat it.

I think they saw your HP at less than 10k and totally missed the T5 equipment.

Some people think HP is the only important stat.

Kinda like my recent tanking of H.MgT. Sure, 13k is a bit low, and that place is hard, but you can't go yelling at me over the Ret with 200 DPS, or the lock that never CCs, or the shaman that never interrupts, purges, or drops a grounding totem.

I am with DetroitRock, I doubt it had anything to do with your gear. I ran heroics wearing green's and blue's when I first started doing them (back when you needed to be a bit more than just honored for the key) and we seemed to complete them just fine. Granted my DPS was alot lower then, but we still managed.

If it was due to your gear whoever was the leader had got to be a dumb SOB, or an ebay charater with no clue.

I have had people comment on how low my health is, but jeez its either stamina enchants/gems or agi enchants/gems... live longer or kill faster

Ummm, you're geared right around where I am and I do perfectly fine in heroics. I seriously doubt, since you are obviously used to instancing and all, that you would have a problem.

First off, you're NOT undergeared for Heroics.

Now I'm going to play Devil's Advocate.

Your enchants (Or lackthereof) and green quality gems in T5 level loot shows that you simply don't care. There are many factors that come into this, such as money, time, etc. If I were to look at you and see the cruddy enchants and gems, I'd assume you were a baddie.

I'm sure you're a great player, but from your enchants and gems, I'd assume the worst.

For starters your helm, chest, and bow need an enchant. (You don't need to spring for a crit scope if money is limited, a 10 damage scope will do fine until you can upgrade it.) Your gloves needs a better enchant. At this point, even Assault would be better than 7 Agi. Your armor kit on the legs needs to be changed. 30 Stam and 10 Agi is NOT a serious DPS enchant.

Upgrade all your green quality gems in your Belt of Deep Shadow and Ranger General's chest to at least blue quality.

When I see someone who takes pride in their gear, I'm more likely to look past the "everyone is bad" mentality that I have. It might sound elitest, but a majority of people ARE bad, so treating everyone as bad lets me be pleasantly surprised when I find someone not.

That's going a bit far imo.
I'm overgeared for heroics with 2.1kAP, 32% crit hitcapped and 550some armor pen.
Someone with ~1650 AP and 25% crit isnt overgeared yet.
(nowhere near undergeared either though)
