I`m curious to see if you all figure I`m ready to get mongoose or stick with savagery?

um, i'd say you're right at the line where mongoose will start to be better. if you're working on a weapon upgrade anytime soon stick with savagery cause its cheaper. if you will be using that weapon for a while get mongoose cause as you upgrade other gear mongoose will definitely be better.

I have one question.. when mongoose proc`s, does it give you haste rating? or straight speed increase?
it gives you 120 agility and i believe 2% haste. right around 2k AP and 1k avg white hits is the generic time i'd recommend putting mongoose on instead of savagery. i'd have to take some time to find where i had my math for this... and those are aprx numbers partly cause they're round numbers and partly cause i'm a little lazy to find my actual math to give exact breaking points betwen the 2. either way, you're about there. i just got there myself and put mongoose on my new blade of the harbinger :) i'm loving it so far. i'm seeing it proc quite a bit. feels like it has to be more than 1ppm.
ok, did some basic math on this (if anyone sees any errors pls let me know.
savagery is 70 AP. 70AP=5dps. 5dps x 3.5 weapon speed = 17.5 per swing. so, AP affects melee swing, SoC procs, and CS.
Melee swing is increased by 17.5 = 5dps
SoC procs are increased by 12.25 x 7 / 60 = 1.43dps
CS is increased by 19.25 / 6 = 3.21ps
total increase = 9.64 non-crit included dps.
mongoose gives 120 agility (4.8 crit) and 2% haste
procs 1ppm and lasts 15 seconds = 25% uptime
average increase = 1.2 crit & .5 haste (which only applies to melee swings which are apx half our dps = .25)
total avg dps increase = 1.45%
9.64 / 0.0145 = 664 non-crit dps
664 x .5 = 332 dps from melee swings x 3.5 = 1162 avg melee hit
all that to say, if your melee swing avg damage is higher than apx 1162 (inc all buffs) mongoose will be better. if your avg melee swing is lower than apx 1162 (inc all buffs) savagery will be better.
that all was if you wanted some hasty math... simple answer is if you have a weapon like blade of the harbinger from badges or anything else better than gorehowl/S2 weapons i'd recommend mongoose. if you have gorehowl/S2 weapons or lower stick to savagery and look for a better weapon (badge axe being an excellent choice or S3/S4 weapons if you can get them). gorehowl actually could go either way. i had savagery on it, but if you don't see another weapon upgrade coming in the near future mongoose will scale better as you upgrade the rest of your gear.

thanks again for your help, I appreciate it. I guess the further you try to go with a class the more complicated it starts to become. I knew I should have stayed awake in them math classes.
lol, this game is as complicated as you want it to be. if you enjoy math you can make things complicated and have fun. if you don't you can let us nerds do the math and life can be simpler for you. i'm sure someone will catch a mistake i probably made somewhere... who says i really paid attention in class? ;) i just enjoy the math. i am an über-noob geekadin...
