Come to really think about it, that thing is completely useless for anything except bragging...

PvP: you'll never have time to build such a huge amount of damage. Most PvP battles last like 30 seconds, and Shadowbolts are not necessarily easy to get off.
PvE: in solo PvE that thing isn't useful, for you can easily kill mobs even without it. In instances and raids, you'll swiftly draw aggro off the tank and die if you try.

Still funny though to have corruption hit much harder that the Darkness of a Thousand Souls from the most powerful boss ingame.

at the end the corruption was ticking for more damage than the combined health of every raid boss in the game.. lol

LOL - I knew there was a reason I was gonna spec affliction in Wrath.

But seriously. Maybe it's coz I'm sick or something, but um, why was corruption's damage increasing per tick? Can't figure this one out :S

Summary of the video:

*Everlasting Affliction, a talent, allows to keep up a Corruption spell indefinitely through Shadowbolt.
*The T5 4 pieces bonus gives a 10% damage increase to the Corruption spell each time Shadowbolt hits, stacking forever.

Therefore, all this warlock did was placing Corruption and then spamming Shadowbolt rank 1. After a couple of minutes the damage from Corruption reaches astronomical heights.

Oh and, avoid that mob he's fighting if you're around level 50ish. He's invincible unless you're on a specific quest.
