I think if the talent trees stay as they are they might open a window for haste+crit abuse warriors.

Here's the spec:

Arms:
Axe Spec + Sudden Death + Impale + Imp Overpower

Fury:
Cruelty (Duh) + Unb Wrath + Imp Execute
Deathwish + Int Rage + Flurry

Fully reachable at level 67. Then you can add more talents for extra hit, extra rage, extra crit, or extra instant attacks to get extra crits to proc sudden death or to have more rage for your executes.

Abuse by gearing for haste + crit with DW of very fast axes. Execute is not affected by AP or weapon damage, just rage. Use Imp Overpower for guaranteed crits and instant attacks and heroic strikes for additional hits that could crit.

The expectancy of getting procs with 35% crit and flurry up + 10% haste from gear and 1.7 speed weapon speed in both hands would be...

Autoattack:
1.7 / 2 / 1.25 / 1.1 = 0.62s per swing.
1.612 swings per second.
With 20% of swings lost to miss/evasion 1.29 hits per sec.
*.35 = Expectancy of 0.45 crits per second.
*.3 = Expectancy of 0.13 procs per second.
Expectancy of 7.4 sec per proc.

Overpower:
5s overpower with 85% chance to crit.
Expectancy of crit every 0.85 overpowers.
Expectancy of crit every 5.882 seconds.
Expectancy of 0.17 crits per second.
Expectancy of 0.051 procs per second.
Expectancy of Proc every 19.61 seconds.

6s Instant attack (MS or BT)
6s c/d with 35% crit.
crit every 0.35 attacks.
crit every 17.14 sec.
0.058 crits per sec.
0.017 procs per sec.
57.14 seconds per proc.

Unless my math is wrong (which is likely but can only be proven by someone who is a better mathematician than I am) all of those added together put up an average proc expectancy of 4.91 seconds per proc. Potentially much less if you manage to get 1.4 speed weapons.

That's an execute every 5 seconds on average.

I don't know how to get the Standard Deviation over the mess I just did. It's likely it has a rather large STDEV around 7-8 seconds, that would mean there's high potential for procs coming like 2-3 times in a row and then none for like 7-8 seconds.

While it's interesting, Execute isn't all that powerful (truly, it's not) when you're not spamming it every GCD.
