As for where to buy them; generally in a village close to your faction's capitol. For example, the Human mount, a horse, comes from the Eastvale Logging camp, a low level quest hub near Stormwind. If you can't find the one for your race, ask it in general chat.

My game manual tells me that taurens don't get mounts, but instead get Plainsrunning.

I bought my copy from Blizz's website, guess what, no manual...

Dwarves get their mount in Amberstill Ranch, which is not a town at all, it's 3 people at a ranch.
Gnomes get their mounts at Steelgrill depot, which is just east of Kharanos again not a town at all.
Humans get their mount at the Eastvale Logging Camp, which can be considered a town, but you go from Northshire to Goldshire to Eastvale, would be the third town.
Night Elves get their mounts in Darnassus, which again counting we go from Aldrassil to Dolanar to Darnassus.
Draenei get their mounts in Exodar. Same situation as Darnassus, the third stop on your leveling trip.

So not only was your attempt at being a smart *** fail, so was your advice.

Edit to the OP: Please take a little time to look some things up, no reason to ask simple questions that take a few seconds of searching to find the answer.

I'm not saying the OPs question wasn't a waste of time and energy, that the answer couldn't be found at countless easy to access places that would have taken a few seconds of looking to find. But the smart *** remarks aren't necessary all the time in everything that's said.

Take yourself for example. I've yet to see a post where you aren't talking down to someone, like your better than them. Yeah, you know your **** when it comes to WoW, your information and your efforts towards being a better player are invaluable to anyone and everyone that plays. But the egomaniacal attitude is pathetic. Because you are held in such esteem among posters people look up to you and emulate you and feel that it's ok to be a jerk to everyone and everything that doesn't meet your standards.

But hey, that's how things are on Alla right.

I talk like I do because I am better than 90% of the player base of WoW. The only people that can safely say they're better than me have been in SWP and have gotten Glad/Duelist.

Duelist is the top 3% of arena players world-wide (statistically), and SWP is about the same, if not less. And by SWP I mean people that have downed Illidan and moved into SWP and actually downed a boss there.

And generally when people talk down for no reason here, I start talking down to them. A few of the regular posters have gotten that from me, so it's not like people are immune.

No, your better than them at the game, you're not better than them as a person. Difference there. I never said you play favorites, I said your attitude is pathetic because you equate being better than someone at a game as being better than them as a whole, which is displayed in your posts. But neither here nor there. Your not going to change your ways, I'm not going to change my oppinion life rolls, time passes and pretty soon someone else will be having this exact same conversation again, cause that's how it happens on Alla.

I don't think I've ever said that I'm a better person, or implied it. I think the only thing that I've ever implied is that I think I'm going to hell.

In fact, I think that they've built one of those Japanese bullet trains for me alone, I'm going to hell so fast. I think they're working on the supersonic jet as we speak.

So no, you're not angry that I say that I'm a better person, you're butthurt that I'm a "bad person" and flame people for being terrible at a game.

Yesterdays topic, but I'll reply.

That doesn't matter. Just because you are better than someone at something, which there is no denying Theo is better than most of us at this game, doesn't give you the right to talk down to people.

When you are talking to someone, regardless of topic, you are talking to them, person to person, and being better or more knowledgable about something in particular doesn't make you better than them to think you have the right to able to talk down to them.

It's a pathetic attitude to have.

Edit: I'm not saying to be perfect, because everyone breaks from time to time, I've called people idiots a time or two, but when the majority of your posts are like this, it gets ridiculous.

The funniest thing is that if you ever ask a legitimate question that hasn't been answered or is easily answered, I usually reply with posts like you'll find from me in the PvP forum.

Yet you of course only see the posts where I'm talking down to people (which I'll admit are a decent amount of my posts), and automatically assume that I'm an awful person just because I act like it from time to time.

We're all human, and just because you think your **** doesn't stink, doesn't mean you can point out that mine does.

A decent amount of your posts isn't what I would call from time to time.

I never said you were an aweful person. I said you have a poor attitude. And my sh*t stinks just like everyone elses, I just don't run around pushing it into everyones face. But like I said yesterday, your not going to change, I'm not going to change, and after a while all will be forgotten and someone else will be having this same conversation.

I do recall one time when he said that outside the game he goes to exotic destinations and takes photographs hot models.

Of course, to that I say pics or it didn't happen. =p

Can I just say that it's incredibly irritating that you don't know how to spell the simplest of words?

For God's sake man, get Firefox and use the spell check.

"Aweful" is actually spelled awful, and when you're using "your," you usually mean "you're."

But it's alright, because no one in our society is enough of an ******* to point out that you're a moron and really are killing the English language, right?

Oh, wait. Smiley: grin

Nah, I was actually a freelance photographer for a year or so, but since then I've gotten back to what I intended to do and now I work IT.

Can't get firefox, on a work computer, but that was pretty funny. I do laugh when you put twists on being an ***.

Well...for alot of cases being an *** is uncalled for.

This question though...I think it deserves it.

And personally, I glaze over Theo being an *** and pick out the info that I need. Works fine for me.

A theo post is best deciphered as thus:

Clever opening statement

Im being an *** because I am really truly better then you at the game but Im doing it in a clever way.... Really Effin good piece of information to hold and treasure ... more assing around etc. etc.

Funny closing statement that ties it all together

I am being sarcastic and sensationalistic here but in all honesty theo knows his **** and poo poo to you for trying to play the RL card on someone in a gaming forum.

and i don't see whats whats wrong with that, he can be an *** so long as he is not an *** who doesn't know what he is talking about.

So knowing more about something than somebody else gives people the right to be an ***? I'm glad teachers don't live by that rule, we'd have a pretty rough society.
