Spec for early BTFollow

ok my guild is starting BT tomorrow and I was wondering what spec fares the best in there. I heard frost was essential for illidan but obviously we wont be doing any attempts on him yet. So for the first few bosses 2/48/11? or a frost build?

Frost is in now way essential for illidan, or any of the fights in hyjal/bt.

As pold said, stick with which you are most comfortable, I stuck with 2/48/11 for the most dps that I can squeeze out neglecting 40/0/21 AB spam with 2xT5.

The 48/11 spec is standard and obviously the best DPS spec you can have at this time. However, considering that BT is new territory for your and your guild, you may find some extra survivability to come in handy, especially until your healers learn their way around each encounter, how, when and who to heal during boss fights. A spec I found very useful for wipe raids (or "learning fights") was 40/21. With this spec, you will lose a flat 2% crit; however, since most fights are relatively short, you will be able to compensate for this loss by using double Icy Veins per fight. Not to mention double Ice Block which will definitely be helpful in several situations.
