Where to go from here?Follow

Im slightly confused about where to go from here, my gear is mostly quest rewards, and i want to start doing Kara as soon as i can. I was planning on getting the S2 main hand fist so i can do some ok DPS, but then where to go.... should i start grinding on heroics or get the rest of the S2 armor? Would S2 gear even be good enough for Kara? Any tips would be great. Thanks.

good news for you: you're headed in the right direction. you've already achieved the soft cap for hit including 3/3 precision. if you logged out in battle stance, then you're only ~2% crit short of the minimum for adequate flurry uptime. S2 gear is great to fill in gaps here and there as long as you don't lose sight of which stats you need to shoot for. i rocked S2 hands (before they were available for honor) for months before i got Gauntlets of Martial Perfection from Gruul. i see you've already got the engineering helm... great choice, you'll be using that for a long time.

one thing i would change with your spec is to take one point out of imp. whirlwind, and use it to fill out Impale. you will get far, far more dps out of 2/2 Impale than you will with another second off of your whirlwind.


learn how to use Landsoul's DPS spreadsheet from Elitist Jerks or others like it. it will help you to answer your own questions wrt what gear or stat you should be pursuing for maximum dps.
