kk first point, i have started doing a lot more arena and pvp. In fact its all i do now so i was hoping someone could point out some great pvp add-ons for BG's and for arenas. I would like a CC timer one that shows clearly when my blind is gonna end on a target which isn't my current one and also something with better combo point visibility if possible. But ne othe rbg ones wud be cool too

Second point...kinda ties in with the first. I have started doing a 2v2 with a survival hunter. Doing ok so far hovering 1510 level which aint bad for our gear. But atm he runs out flare and freeze trap. If he traps one he calls out when its about to end i change targets and blind (which is where the above add-on thing comes in) then we continue to nuke the healer / non-trapped target. But our main issue is that well....people aren't retarded (excluding a few) they either notice its a 2v2 and they can only see 1, or they just nuke the hunter without staying in the trap. Basically without trap going off we struggle.

Ok and last thing, haven't seen ne recent wotlk beta things (no i didn't look very hard sorry) but i was wondering what the pvp is like. Who seems most OP and if there is a new BG or ne thing like that? Not gonna lie i rolled a shammy just to blast people off the cliff at the lumber mill and the bridge in AV :) Any wotlk update wud be sweet and any help on the above wud be cool too.

1: Get proximo.

In the options menu it has announcement features for playernames and class when you mouseover them. In the beginning of the arena match i move my mouse around to the enemy starter point. When they're unstealthed it will show:
mrdaiperhead - mage
mrpoopypants - shaman
You can set it to announce this as well.

It also shows the enemy targets in a handy window that you can click if you want.

You can also set it to announce debufs etc:
when blind is cast : ++ mrdaiperhead blind ++
when blind wears off : -- mrdaiperhead blind --
So this isn't really a CC timer but you know for sure when the effect wears off.

You can also use addons like withchunt to show the enemy cast bar.

2: I fought against a very good hunter (or i just suck). What he did was keep flare up with freeze trap (the one where you turn into an iceblock). When someone went in it, he cast scattershot at the last second of it wearing of (the one skill where you walk around confused for a few secs) and then drops another frost trap, effectively chain CC'ing alone. For kiting purposes he used frost aura trap (dunno which one that is but it's the one that slows you down).

I would say for CC use : frost trap -> scattershot -> blind. If you're skilled enough (i can't do this yet) you can try vanish -> sap for another round of CC. You can start at frost trap again.

You should be shadowstep specced which should include the skill that increases the range of your sap. Get the macro from Theo's guide so the sap button is spammable. It will automatically sap anyone in range. Stand before the hunter in stealth, use him as bait. Sapping first should be the most important thing you can do in arena. Force them to trinket sap so you can use the full lenght of blind. As an extra tip, as a rogue, keep your trinket for blind. It helps a lot.

Get the addons from curse.com / wowinterface.com or wowmatrix.com. The last site also has a download of the applicaton called wowmatrix. It's a handy tool that updates all the addons you use. It also has a short description in the menu that shows what the addon does.

Hope this helps.

3: can't help you with that.

Sounds like the hunter was either full MM or maybe an MM / Surv. hybrid. Gonna get those add-ons know tyvm. Although recently i am having trouble with curse gaming so will try the other sites.
