Question about + to damage/healing attributesFollow

I've noticed that when a Dot like Siphon Life is cast the amount of damage on
the icon is the base damage with nothing showing for the bonus damage, if any.
Which makes me wonder if a bonus is indeed being added.

So my first question is this; are there any spells where no bonus damage from
items is added to spell damage?

Second when using a spell that transfers life from a target which applies
to what you get; the bonus to damage, the bonus to healing, or nothing ?

blizzard is just to lazy to program the spell icons to update to include bonus damage. if you wish to see the damage increases download something like 'dr.damage' which'll update your spell tooltips to include the +dmg.
