Alrighty, well let's see.

1)Consider making that Belt of Blasting and complimenting it with a badge robe, preferably the Tormented Demonsoul Robe as your first consideration.

2)The badge boots are definitely BT quality. Might not be a bad second thing to look into getting.

3)Badge pants are a third thing to look at. I can't remember off the top of my head, but I believe that they're a sidegrade from the T5 pants.

4)Since you've broken the set bonus at this point, badge gloves aren't a bad idea either.

5)Weapon, weapon, weapon! The badge dagger would be a massive upgrade for you, but I wouldn't get it until you've switched to the BoB and the badge boots.

6)As far as spec goes, if you think you have the mana regen for it(or have a shadow priest in your group most of the time), you'd see a fair benefit to your DPS by taking all the points out of arcane save the 2 in Subtlety, and dropping them into frost for Icy Veins. Again, though, if that'll leave you OOM, hold off on it for now. Beyond that, your spec is fine.

Two essential suggestions that you may find helpful regarding your question:

- Drop the socket bonuses. It's a known fact that the Spellfire set is bare of any Stamina, but from personal experience, I can tell you that you can (and will) survive with as low as 6700-7000 HP unbuffed, without having to sacrifice your offensive stats. Secondly, remember that Dawnstones are worse than Veiled Noble Topazes. For example, if you have 2 sockets, and you use a Dawnstone (8spellhit) and a Living Ruby (9 spelldmg), you will gain less than if you use 2x Veiled Noble Topazes (8 spellhit+10 spelldmg). I know that 1 spelldamage extra per 2 sockets isn't much, but it's a known fact that every little bit of extra damage counts.

- Regarding your spec, you're still using Clearcast which is probably the second (or third) best DPS spec for a Mage at this time. I would suggest giving up Clearcast for Icy Veins which will grant you more DPS. You will hopefully have a Shadow Priest and/or Resto or Elemental Shaman in group to assist you with your mana needs during raids.

Belt of Blasting is also the best caster DPS belt you can get for a while (until Mount Hyjal) so if you can, get it asap. You may want to keep some PvP gear in your bags for fights where survivability is really necessary, and where Ice Block can't do the job.
