Well last night a good friend of mine and I joined onto a MagT group. I think the group set a record for wipes. Here is the config:
Warrior (prot tree, my friend)
Hunter (SV tree, but never really scanned him)
Hunter (me)
Shaman (scanned his talents and he was 3/50/11 or something to that effect)
First healer didn't stick around, but the heals were slow going
Second Healer (Druid, completely decked out for heals)
We cleared half of the instance out, but decided to stop before the 3rd boss. We knew that we had no real CC for the rest of the instance and it would be a complete waste continuing (kind of sucks I was hoping to unlock the heroic mode just for the gem lol).
Somewhere in our wipes the Truestrike Ring dropped, and I won the lot... I was freaking out on the vent because it really is a once in a lifetime drop. I equiped it despite the fact I could of sold it for my epic mount, but damn it is too nice of a ring to just let go.

I've got that ring. Its been useful for quite a while. A buddy gave it to me after he'd run MgT.

I've not had a drop that cool, but i remember when I was in STV at lv 32, just getting the Flight Path.
Red Text went up, as it was the gob in the arena about to lay the chest down.
I wasn't too far away, so I thought what the heck.
I ran in, poped Humanoid and then changed to Hidden Track. Didn't pick anyone up so I jumped in and opened the chest.
A blue wrist band landed in my bag. Wasn't BoP...and I couldn't DE it (was to low at the time). So just for fun, I placed it on the AH for 100g.
It sold in 12min.
lol.
Came here and found out I could have gotten maybe another 50g, if not more from it.
Then about 2 hours later 3 greens and 2 rare world blue boots dropped.
I kept a pair of boots and gave the others away...but it was a nice day for me lol.

lol awesome. Everytime I went into the arena I got popped and I mean popped so hard that I ended up in the graveyard in Red ridge lol
No real CC? Am I missing something or did you have 2 traps? I know trapping in MgT isn't as easy as most instances due to the large amount of casters, but it can be done with clever use of LoS.
