I always assumed Fiery was the way to go. At 6 ppm and 40 damage, it's an additional 4 dps. It can crit but I believe it's based on your own spell crit chance (so, pretty low).
The other cheap enchant is +5 damage if you can find it. Assuming a 2.6 speed weapon, that works out to ~1.9 dps on non-hasted white damage. That's assuming 23 strikes per minute. Flurry, stormstrike, and WF would have to get you up to 48 strikes/minute to get up to the Fiery standard of 4 dps. You could get a faster weapon to up the enchant's dps, but that screws over windfury. Probably a poor choice.
The high-end enchants aren't worth the price while leveling, but middle-of-the-road Crusader would be good for a weapon you know you'll keep for awhile: it averages to +50 AP or ~3.5 dps on main-hand non-hasted white damage, not counting the heal.
Boy oh boy thats some number crunching... I was just gonna say fiery is a fairly cheap enchant for the leveling enhancement, if your using any other spec, honestly its not worth spending the money for the stats enchants at lower levels.
I tried out +4 damage on my paladin, and it is no where as good as fiery. And as mentioned above all enchants that are newer are too expensive and are considered end-game enchants.
I sure hope that bliz thinks about this for the expansion, they need to bring out just a few middle of the road enchants for weapons. This lacking of an equivalent of firey/icy in the new enchants isnt good. Fiery and icy are a good way to level enchanting at lower levels, and I imagine trying to level from 300-375 if someone makes a toon after WoLK comes out is gonna have a really hard time doing it as the enchants are good, but people are going to move on to where the mats are readily available.
