Considering DrakaFollow

In another thread, Theo suggested that I and ThomasMagnum roll on his server, Draka. While I think he didn't expect me to seriously consider the move, I do find it rather tempting. Theophany and MyTeddy, two of the most entertaining and knowlegeable rogues on this board are leveling new toons there, and they are part of what seems like a promising guild.

If I were to roll a new toon, I would do so with 2's & 5's arena in mind. I would also like to try a class somewhat different from a Rogue. So I am considering making a Shaman. I have to do a bit of research before I make a final decision.

I wasn't even aware of the triple xp benefit to the recruit-a-friend program until Theo mentioned it in passing. Someone would make a toon on Draka and then toss me a referral to the game through the wow website. Then, I would create an entirely new account, and from there we would get triple XP while we level in a group together. This buff lasts for ninety days, more than enough time to power a character to level seventy. Hell, may even be able to get two toons up to seventy in that time.

Since I hate leveling so god damn much, triple xp would be well worth the extra cost of having an additional account. In fact, I could just transfer my main to my girlfriend's account and then cancel the account I already have. Yes, my main is on an account under her name, I created him back when she and I were sharing one computer.

I live in the GMT -8:00 time zone, two hours behind Draka, which is GMT -6:00. So, suppose I found someone on this board willing to do this recruit-a-friend thing with me, it would work best if they were available to play from 8:00pm to midnight or so server time, Monday through Friday, and then here and there on the weekends, with no specific schedule.

My Goal would be to level to 70 as quickly as possible, since leveling blows. So, by using mods like LightHeaded and TomTom, the majority of my initial time on this server would be spent questing my face off, with little downtime, mostly ignoring tradeskills.

I have two questions, the first is for the general populace of this board, and the second is for Theo specifically.

1: Are there any among you interested in rolling with the recruit-a-friend program and leveling to 70 as fast as possible with me? (idiots need not apply)
2: Theo, if you had the option of recruiting a reasonable bright and reasonably skilled player into your circle of friends, what class would you most prefer he play?

1. I'm no where near good enough to hang with good rogues yet.
2. Can't roll a pve server! <3 World PVP

But yea if you come, get the refer a friend thing. Level 28 with 22hours played or so.

Once we hit stv i am predicting 30-40 in one night.



As for arena... I am a notorious team jumper because i am always bored and like playing with different setups, so i wouldnt mind playing and helping ya out.

Is this a pve realm? Why is theo on a pve realm?

The funny thing is... if I am anywhere near where I left off when I was competing with my Rogue... its like... instant top 100 minimal...

I've had higher teams in every single bracket that the best teams XD
