Fellow druids,

I'm a resto druid who uses ToL for raiding. Right now I am at 1720 plus heals. I'm pretty new to the druid class and was wondering if anybody could suggest some upgrades for my gear whether they are from badges or raiding. Right now my guild is mainly doing SSC, MH, and the Eye. I realize there are a few pieces from Kara that might also be upgrades...enchant suggestions are something I'm not very sharp on as well. Thanks for you time in advance!

Looking at your gear and spec I'm not sure if this is you PvE setup or your PvP. I'll assume this is your PvE gear.

First check out Loot Rank. This is the gear ranking list that I use and it puts a more-or-less equal point value on mana regen and + healing.

There are quite a few badge pieces that you can pick up for some major upgrades:
Grovewalker's Leggings
Essence of the Martyr
Gargon's Bracers of Peaceful Slumber

That's just a few, and the most pressing in my opinion, badge upgrades to go for. Check out the above loot rank list for more.

From raids I would go for the T5 shoulders. Also, the healing gear from ZA is amazing, try for the necklace and one of the two helms that drop.

Also, you can take a look at my armory, Vasalius. I'm near the same progression level as your guild.

Treehands,

Thanks for your help! I'm at work so I can't check out those sites, but I will look when I get home. I have about 80 badges right now, so I might buy the trinket and the bracers right away. That would give me a nice boost in plus healing.

This idol could provide a useful upgrade, considering lifebloom is typically used more often than rejuvenation (you can keep the other as this is somewhat situational). Also, since there are usually multiple resto druids, are you often the tree in the tank group? If you are, you could use quite a bit more spirit, but you're otherwise fine on that. Your mp5 while casting is good, but could use work as well.

In terms of enchants, a few useful ones would be:
Glyph of Renewal for the head.
Restore Mana Prime or Major Spirit work great for chest.
Enchant Gloves - Major Healing are better than +5 agi.
And Greater Inscription of Faith/Greater Inscription of the Oracle are the recommended enchants for shoulder, depending on your allegiance. If you want to put money into enchanting blue shoulders, you can go ahead, but it shouldn't be your first priority on the enchants.
