Hi all,
I'd like to know how much spelldamage it's raccomanded to have if i'd like to start exping my shammy now lvl 62 with the elemental spec.
I wanted to wait for the Water Shield before trying it... but i dunno if just with a 100spelldamage equip it's enough.
Let me know plz!

Well, if you're switching from another spec to Elemental, the answer is, quite simply... as much as you can get as soon as you can get it. If you don't have some spell damage gear already stored up then I would recommend you hold off switching for a while. Keep questing as Enhancement, but choose Elemental-oriented quest rewards when you turn in. Run as many instances as you can and explain your situation to your party so they won't flip out when you roll on spell gear. And if all else fails, you can buy spell damage greens off the AH if you're not poor.
If you're really jonesing to switch that badly, then go ahead and switch. People can criticize your DPS output in parties, but the only person who can criticize your leveling ability is you.

Atm I've got a bout 100spelldamage gear. Is it enough to start?or u suggest me to wait for some more +damage?

1. I believe you mean suggesting. ( No burn meant, just figured English might not be your first language and this is the second time I've seen you misspell that word.)
2. 100 spell damage means he has at least a couple spell damage pieces at that level.
3. To answer your question Contagioz, 100 spell damage is a little low for your level, but if you do want to respec you can probably, as Gaudion said, fill in the rest of the pieces that you don't have from the Auction House and do decent. 300 spell damage is a good goal to shoot for at your level. Anywhere close to that will keep your dps adequate even in groups.
