Paladin/WarriorFollow

Hello

Im still not 70 on my pala but ive been thinking alot about the holy pala/warrior setup. I dont understand it isnt played more than it is given the current setups that is most played. Would love to hear what you think about it and some comments from people who have played this setup to atleast 1700 rating.

druid/hunter(drain team): Dispel the viper sting and los as much as possible. With BoF and cleanse it will be hard to cc the warrior.

Holy priest/rouge: Having played a holy priest alot myself i know how hard it is tp mana burn anything with a good gearet msx warrior on my ***. And when the blind/sap combo comes just bubble?

Druid/warrior: ok we might loose this one in the long run ;)

Shaman/warrior: same but easier than druid i predict

Mage/rogue: Hard to predict. Generally ive found palas easy to cc but i dunno.

Lock/rogue: Same as above but when ive played lock/rogue against warrior/pala we seems to loose.

Druid/lock(drain team): Let the warrior nuke the lock and pummel everything that is shadow? hamstring and just accept the cyclones?

Its all just thoughts so would like to hear about some of it :)

The problem is war/pal is too easily CC. Aside from 12 seconds of bubble where classes will just run away, you, the paladin, will be CC and your warrior dropped in seconds.

As far as some of your comps down there go,

Holypriest/rogue isnt a comp, its disc priest/rogue and it will spank you. Your bubbles will be useless and the rogue will have the pally CCed out badly with kicks, gouges, blinds ect.

Druid/war // shaman/war...here the lack of offense from the paladin will be its downfall. shaman would be easier, but both shaman and druid can dps considerably and knock out the warrior.

mage rogue...Its not even funny how fast this will drop you. they can even do it as simple as mage take out the warrior and rogue just slow your heals down enough. Or, more pro like, they will sap/blind/sheep the paladin force the bubble, vanish/ice block through your bubble...then procede to lock all your heals out and stun lock/kite the warrior around hes dead in 4 seconds.

lock/rogue...youll be able to beat this one im guessing, the lack of burst damage (since your wearing plate) and warrior fear immunity can drop the lock. Rogue can be CCed out with HoJ and intimidating shout so at least at some point you get 6 seconds or so warrior vs lock and you can Hshock while neither of you are taking rogue damage.

druid/lock...they will wear you down. Not familiar a lot with this, but soul link and siphon life AND hots, your warrior will have some trouble getting that lock down. Not sure really here though.

Zisik, I am under the impression you don't know to much about this comp. The paladin's insane mana pool can out survive alot of comps. And any decent warrior will have his pummel/defensive stance interrupt ready for Mass Dispell, if the rogue (being that the only comp that could do anything in this situation) should be far away and have to use ShS (NOT USING A VANISH) in order to stun the warrior. Giving the paladin time to heal. With an Spriest team...well the spriest should really be dead by then. I recommend you watch: http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=79887 and http://warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=82599 (part 3)

I will admit that mage rogue is hoping you get Nargrand and pillarhumping 'till your balls fall off. Druids Edge could work I guess, but the ruins would pretty much @#%^ you over.

No clue as to the topic, but Lord Justdistaint, rogues do not need stealth to Shadowstep or I must be very mistaken... So no vanish needed there! /nitpickoff
