Aldor or Scryer?Follow

I have a 61 BM hunter that is a miner and a engineer. I know that both Aldor and Scryer have certain items and recipes that are specific for each side, which would be the best way for me to go? I really only do PVE so if anything is PVP related it doesn't matter much to me unless it is a engineering item i can make and sell for good gold on the AH

nah neither one has any engineering schematics, but scryers is the better choice.

Here's another vote for Aldor. :)

Not to mention that on the wiki the stats seem to show around a 3:1 choice of Aldor for hunters.

If you're really into min/maxing your gear, then Aldor might be the better choice. The shoulder enchant is arguable. With my gear (Hyjal/BT level), the Scryer enchant is actually a .21 DPS increase over the Aldor enchant... basically, it makes no difference. However, if I was Aldor, and I had their necklace, it would be a .32 DPS increase... Also, meaning that it doesn't make any kind of noticeable difference.

But there are other factors to take into consideration:
Scryer Elevator doesn't kill you (doesn't matter when you get your flying mount)
Scryer Tabbard is much cooler
Scryer Rep is much cheaper and easier to farm with SSO dailies
Scryer Tier is closer to the flight master.

Personally, I'm scryer. I chose it for all the reasons above (except the rep thing. I made exalted before 2.4). I'm not unhappy with my decision. I'm just unhappy with all the people that talk **** on Scryer.

Aldor = Better
Scryer = Cheaper
