It's early and Saturday and I'm at work and feeling slow. Armory in Sig.

Currently wearing the badge chest w/ 20AP in socket for PvP, mainly for the massive AP it already has over the S1 chest. I'd be able to pick up the S4 chest IF we can get to 1600, but I suck hard at Arena, still getting into a groove with my other rogue partner. Is it an upgrade to pick up the S3 chest for 1500 arena points, because I'm not 100% positive we'll get to 1600? Or should I just stay with what I've got?

EDIT v.2: Any suggestions on replacing the Hourglass? Is the Battlemasters the next logical choice?

1) Don't buy S3. If you can't get to 1600 by the time you cap your points, then buy S3. 1600 is very easy though, especially in Vindication (one of the easier BGs).

2) I'd get the Battlemaster in the 3.0 patch, but not before then. BLB, Berserker's Call, etc are all better.

Also, as a rogue/rogue team, you want to be socketing Agi, since one of you is going to be getting focused.

Thank you, exactly what I was looking for. We should be able to hit 1600, I think a blind kid in my gear could hit it faster than I'm going to though. Going to re-read your arena thread and memorize comp strats. Our basic approach has been to focus on the healer and blind/cc the dps, which only worked on a bad pally/rogue combo. We rocked another rogue/rogue, wasn't even a fight, but couldn't deal with the CC from priests and mages very well.

I spent most of the week on dailies and have another 1k gold to spend on gems, so I'll be regemming agi. Probably need to pick up RED over current SSD right?
