I was looking at the WotLK talents and noticed that Wand Specialization will no longer appear as a talent...
I for one will miss this little gem.

It's only useful for leveling. After that it's useless.

Wrong. I dont know how many times i have missed my wans specialization while doing dailies or questing alone. Yes I can just spam smite, but thats not mana efficient and goes against everything I have imbeded in my holy priestly brain in regards to mana conservation.

If this is true, then I too will miss this quintesential Priestly Talent.
hm... instead of +25% wand damage you have now +5% spell power. What's not to like? :)
I did got huge numbers with shadow wand + full shadow weaving + shadowform + ... etc. in the range of 700-800 damage/hit, but i guess we'll make it without this (we gain more healing, btw).

Well if this is the case, then ill be happy =). I like +healing for some reason.
Doesn't bother me. I like what they've replaced it with better. My priest has gone through a lot of respecs and between when I've had Wand Spec and when I haven't is not that big a difference. 2-3 more shots with the wand at the end of the fight. Shruggery.

If you can't spam smite on mobs related to the daily quests and be back at full mana in 20 seconds just from spirit you're doing something wrong.

Well, your right with 250 mana while casing I regen back to full mana before I hit the next mob.
