For a PvP Dreamstate Druid do the pros use Boomkin gear or Resto gear? Im assuming it's the latter but want to make sure.

On that note I just hit 70 on my Druid with only 6k health. Im' so squishy it's rediculous.

Hey,

When I hit 70 2 months ago I had a full set of leather moonkin greens/blues that I had been picking up while leveling. Immediately I went to the lower city vendor in Shatt and bought the blue PVP gear. It costs like 25-50 gold a piece but offers resilience and decent stats for the time being. It should also help to boost up your HP. I also had some honor saved up from leveling so I bought the PVP gladiators staff, the alliance trinket, and some kodohide shoulders.

Since then I have been grinding honor for like 2 months, I almost have a full set of kodohide (im at 379 resil). Full kodohide s2 will give you tons of mp5 and something like 800 damage / 1300 healing. I switched to restokin about a month ago, and man it is so much better than straight moonkin, atleast for BGs. Knowing how to evade attackers while healing yourself and dotting enemies is key, and will help alot in arena. Don't feel bad if you don't do much damage, your healing/CC/debuffs/dots will be a help to anyone around you. If it comes down to 1 on 1 I usually go moonkin and Cyclone then time my Starfires to hit at the right second, do that twice then dot and wrath while staying out of range.

Good luck!

Once I hit 70 I tried to find the blue pvp set but Allakhazam & Wowhead said its no longer available, but I will make sure to run to the lower city quartermaster to check it out.

So the Kodohide set eh? I'll have to check that out. Thanks!

To get the full rep pvp set you will need to be honored with these factions

Lower City
Sha'tar
Honor Hold
Cenarion Expedition
Keepers of Time

You will need to travel to each rep vendor to get the piece that each one has available. Each Vendor will have a 1 piece for each spec, Balance, Feral and Resto.

Once you pick up the full set you'll have somewhere in the neighborhood of 120 resil which is a decent start. It will also as previously mentioned, give you a good boost to your hp.

Good Luck with Restokin and have fun!

That link is AWESOME! Mazra, you're the best

As far as gems to consider from that list, you should be looking for a few things

Intellect = bigger mana pool, more regen based on spec, spell crit.
Stamina = HP obviously
Resil = Great if you're gonna be only PVPing, worthless for the most part in PVE
+Spell Hit = Great for PVE, worthless really for PVP
+Spell Damage = Great for both PVP and PVE
+Spell Crit = Great for both PVP and PVE
+Spirit = great for mana regen based on spec

Now to balance what you really need over what just looks good you'll probably want to browse some of the posts about boomkin/restokin gear because I'm no expert on balance (restokin some and Elemental Shammy as far as casters go) but IMO here's the way I'd go

PVP
+Spell Damage>+Spell Crit>+Resil>+Stam>+Int>+Spirit

PVE
+Spell Damage>+Spell Hit>+Spell Crit>+Int>+Spirit>+Stam

Keep in mind I'm by no means an expert here so take this as a slightly educated guess.

Good Luck!
