actually I do very well on memory usage. I think since dropping quest helper I am running around 156mb or so...

Oh shi.... 156? Before I uninstalled Questhelper, I was running 56. Now I'm down to about 30 when I'm solo'ing. It'll probably be around 50-60 when I'm running DMB in raids.

And that RAM... It makes me sad. I built a new computer about 6 months ago, and I paid $45 for 2gigs (2x 1gb) of Kingston Budget DDR2 PC4200. I've never had Kingston Budget go out on me, so I probably won't have an excuse to upgrade for a while- not on my budget at least.

Normally between 30 and 50fps in raids. 50 - 60fps everywhere else.

But I really have to clean up my UI a bit. There is a bit too much stuff packed everywhere ;)

Yeah, I saw that. Your UI is absolutely loaded.

BTW, how do you add images into your post? I know they have to be uploaded to your images on All first.

You upload the image throug My Account -> Images and once the image has been uploaded, you click it to see it's ID which should be something like [img=xxxxx] where x's are numbers. That tag will put the image in your post. If you don't want a thumb, but the actual image, it has to be within the green borders on the editing page where you commit it.

The UI I'm using is a compilation called ArkiveUI.

Here's a picture of my Hunter's UI in combat:

Screenshot

It's hard to see, but the scrolling combat text (which is actually MikScrollingBattleText) moves horizontally outwards from the center while buffs are shown floating upwards from the middle. The frame above my pet is the focus frame. The HUD display is DaHUD. Notice that it also shows my pet's health.

I kind of like this UI compilation. It's somewhat similar on all classes and fairly easy to set up. Very easy compared to some custom UIs where you have to play around with each addon. Here you just copy over a WTF folder and run /arkiveui to set up the layout and everything. Very nice.

I think some of the higher numbers is because my ram has gone south on me. I can't even login to WoW anymore (with or without the addons). I get loaded into shat and bonk... can't "write" data, and it is showing 3 different addresses now. Sigh, well I get paid tonight (sometimes the owner drops our checks off a day early) or tomorrow night. I am going to overnight my memory from newegg, but it probably won't even get processed until monday :(.

My last good screenshot showed 129.0mb in memory usage. I can't tell which addons were consuming the most, but I am fairly sure Cowtips is eating some memory and so is eepanels2. Normally when I run in any heroics or even a kara pug I make sure to turn off the solo stuff so I can expand on my memory using ACP.

Edit:
@Marza: I tried the whole minimap at the bottom center of my screen. It lasted for about 5 minutes. I can't help looking to the top right of my screen lol. It is a nice looking UI though. I wish I knew what the addon was that draws the target in a window (just above your minimap).

Bumping with content cause I like this thread. Here's mine, gives a pretty decent shot of what mine looks like in combat a most of the time and the critspit numbers from my pet made me chuckle even if it is curator. Pretty much the standard lay out. Don't mind all the random crap on the two right hand bars, that's just where I stick pots/stuff for dailies/random crap.

Also, pay no attention to recount, by the end of the fight I was in first place by 8%. /flex

Edit: whoops you guys don't care about mage talent builds.

Yours looks pretty nice Scotty. Although I wouldn't use it because it simply takes up too much room for my tastes.

question on pitbull, how do you get rid of the buff icons? I use Elkano Buff Bars for that purpose, and don't need to see it under my character frame as well.

I'm at work right now so I can't remember everything. The main Adds are Pitbull, Quartz, ClassTimer, Bongos, CyCirled. I also use Align to help my neurotic self get everything centered and lined up properly. When I get home from work I'll edit this with the rest of the Adds.

As I said above, I'm at work so I can't claim this to be 100% accurate. But you go to Player -> Icons -> Auras and you should be able to find an Enable box you can uncheck. I'll check on this and update it needed later.

yup found it. I am going to make a new UI design based on the pitbull, only because I have recently started playing warrior and I found that my hunter UI isn't quite working as well for warrior.

My UI doesn't really change when I go hunter to rogue, I really just gain a pet bar.

Here's a few screenshots so you can get an idea what I'm using.

#1, #2, #3, #4, #5

#1 is a shot from me in (practice) arena a little while ago. #2 is a configuration shot, though I've changed a bit since then; the target buffs/debuffs are still the same, though. #3 is a typical combat shot, with the Intimidation debuff up on the target, shown both in the debuffs and by NECB. #4 is a combat cast bar shot, showing my shot timer as well as a cast bar going over the mana bar of my target. #5 is a simple cast bar shot, both of mine and my targets.

The unit frame addon is one not a lot of people use, because it's a little obscure. UnderHood is the name of it, and it starts as pretty much a HUD. It's really nice, though, as the frames and buffs allow me to click through them, so really the only thing that I can click of them is the name of my target. I can move pretty much everything independently of eachother, which makes it really nice for custom setup. As you can see, I've set it up so pretty much everything is in one place in the middle of my screen.
