well it depends on what you want to do to the door.

You can have the warrior bust it down or the rogue lockpick it.

if you whisper his name three times while looking in a mirror he will come out of nowhere with gladiator swords equipped.

He may answer you or he may brutally kill you.

You are suggesting Prot Warrior/Rogue...and you call someone else a troll?

There is no seriousness in this thread, its a retarded idea.

Pros:
+They may be so shocked to see a prot warrior they don't do anything and you win while they afk laughing.

Cons:
-They ROFLpwn you while your Prot Warrior watches and tries to do some small amount of damage so they don't end the battle with as much health as they started with.

EDIT: You have 3 posts and your name makes me cry. Thats two more reasons to laugh at you.

#7REDACTED, Posted: Aug 12 2008 at 8:23 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Well, i am not too clear on this idea, but if sunder armor and decrease armor did indeed stack.. You could drop some serious damage on plate wearers.

L2Rogue

Its commonly known that Imp. Expose Armor>Sunder>Expose Armor.

And any Warrior could sunder, it wouldn't need to be a Prot Warrior.
#9REDACTED, Posted: Aug 12 2008 at 9:11 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) If you're playing the "L2" game, then perhaps you should L2Warrior, because A PROT warrior could take alot more hits rather than an arms or fury warrior. Hence the reason I brought up the rogue + PROT warrior, for a some-what survivable combination... Now do not let my expansive ideas cloud your extremely literal aspect of World of Warcraft.

A prot warrior can take a lot of melee abuse, but once you bring in a caster, they're dead. You'd be better off with a Prot Pally I think, at least they can bubble and heal, though it will just prolong the inevitable.

Ya know?

Even if you kept stealth and waited for them to pound the warrior before you open for an attack, they'll just switch to you imediately.

You're not going to fool anyone into fighting your prot warrior while you pound on them.
#13REDACTED, Posted: Aug 12 2008 at 9:38 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I do appreciate the advice, and criticism everyone is giving, but In a response to you, ACE, you would be surprised how useless alot of people are once they have burnt their cooldowns.

Only way to know for sure is to try it...it's not like you can get negative points.

An example is a rogue/ice mage team, if they nuked my warrior, and he was still standing... (spell reflect) They are virtually helpless once I can get my stuns off, as well as the warrior getting his off.

Yes, people are quite useless when they've burned their cooldowns. A big part of Arena is knowing when to use or save your abilities, and any team that would go ******* with abilites on your warrior at start is pretty dumb to begin with and won't make it above 1200 rating.

I understand that you really want to make this team work (or are just trolling), but it just isn't viable.

A Mage/Rogue has a lot more control than your team, and if they played even halfway decent, it'd be a very quick match in their favor.
#16REDACTED, Posted: Aug 12 2008 at 10:01 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Well enough put, just an idea anyways!

Mage/Rogue

As soon as you would come out the mage would assume the control role while the other teams rogue jumps on you. Sheep on warrior and you are dead.

Sheep(trinket if he has) sheep sheep blind freeze.

If you can't get a vanish and run away you are dead. If you get a vanish and run away they still win. Your warrior will be open to a massive shatter within a new cs--->ks.

If you can beat that comp let me know, it is my main comp and if we ever lost to that comp you suggested I would go mad at the mage... Though we have lost to retpala/rogue...I still went mad :P

You have no idea what you're doing in arena.

1) Rogue/mage demolish warrior teams, with or without cooldowns.

2) Prot is not viable in arena for any class. No tanking tree is.

3) Mages dodge Spell Reflect all the time. No mages in arena are POM/Pyro, so Spell Reflect really doesn't do much.

4) Rogues and mages aren't worthless without cooldowns. Mages are worthless with no mana, and rogues are worthless when we're dead.

It was a simple idea, and I had no intent or, never invited you or anyone else to insult me. An expansive mind is what leads to greatness, not taking advice from someone who has "read up" on everything they possibly could.

We all know Theo is pretty blunt, but he is dead on in his post.

You come in this thread looking for imput, we give it to you and you refuse logic, saying an "expansive" mind does better than following known facts. Then you go on to personally insult people who you don't even know ("...'Man I need to get outside more'" ...ok?).

If you're not wanting to hear the truth, then don't bother asking a question.
#21REDACTED, Posted: Aug 12 2008 at 12:30 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) The thread is still open for discussion, regardless of people's ignorance.

So, Theo...Next time you try to "flex your e-peen", take a sit back and say to yourself, "Man I need to get outside more." From there you will understand.

Thank you.

Sorry, I just got back inside. I eat breakfast and lunch on the porch of my apartment.

Y'know, outside.

I'll be going for a run now, so take it easy and don't think on arena too hard, it may tax your overly-simplistic mind.

Edit: and I have by far more experience and knowledge about this game than you do, so don't even try to argue without bringing facts to the table.

Including your own?

You got exactly what you asked for daddio; there are plenty of answers to your question in the above. Just because you don't like the answers does not make them untrue.

Also, that name.... ugh...
