Or is it gonna remain claw, cower and growl only? I like my red crab so much.
Sorry I literally just logged in today for the first time in months. I see crabs are going to the a skill called pin.. Please don't let this make them the new common pet.

I did the edit and added the pin comment. I did have a question, but it was answered.
To give a thorough answer on what is happening to your pet crab in WotLK, I shall give you the exact stats and moves it will get.
As with all the tenacity pets (tanks) it will get a 15% boost to its armor and a 10% boost to its health. No minus stats anymore.
It will have growl, cower, claw and a new skill called pin. A fairly good skill for when/if you pull aggro off your pet as it roots them in place while doing damage.
