It just doesn't feel rightFollow

To make a long story short I've put my raiding career on hold. Now I am beginning to PvP. I never really got into the PvP side of the game. For no reason really, the PVE side of the game was just more intriguing I guess. However a RL friend transfered over to my realm so we could start a 2v2 team. He is a resto shammy and I am a feral druid. I understand this combo most likely won't get us too far but thats another story.

My first question is should I get rid of my 2 piece T4 (shoulders and legs) anytime soon? It would kill me to have to take it off. It has been a staple on my character sheet for quite some time.
here is [link=my armory]http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Laughing+Skull&n=Chronny[/link]
(for some reason I have a couple tanking pieces on.. for pvp my boots = barkchip boots, back = epic pve piece, neck = blue pve piece.. ill change it when I get home)

I am aiming to save up for my S2 wep but the rings and neck piece are very inticing.

My only other question is which route would you take?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Feral druid in arena...hmm...does that even exist? heh, j/k
Anyway, I would say keep 2 t4 (imo, shoulder and helm, but if you prefer shoulder and leg, go for it) and vindicator/guardian vengefull/brutal glad all the rest. Maybe, get the Staff of the Forest Lord instead of S2 weapon. IMO, it would be a better choice.
Keep in mind that, most likely, you wont be past 1600, if that much. Feral druid just cant kill anyone because the old(?) crit X resil.

No easy answer here. I imagine that if you stacked resilience by purchasing available PvP rings, backs, trinkets, boots etc you could make up for losing the resilience from the S2 shoulders and legs. You will never, of course, make up for the loss of the great 4-piece bonus from PvP gear (that run speed is amazing) but the T4 bonus isn't bad either.

And as a feral druid who Arenas w a resto shaman, let me say....prepare to lose. A ton.

Good to know we are not the only ones. What is your rating??

For PVP purposes is the 2 piece T4 on par with the speed boost? So far I haven't had too much trouble catching up to the runners.

I haven't raided, so I can't compare the speed boost with the T4 bonus because I don't have anything T4. (Sniff.) Frankly, I can't imagine it's as good -- the speed boost is mainly a benefit in BGs, since in the arena feral charge can catch you up to most everyone.

My rating is, if I remember correctly, 1374. I'm sure you can do better -- we don't have vent, I'm a keyboard turner and not that well geared. (I finally got to 275 resil with some purchases yesterday but havent done games since I was in low 200s.) Our team rating is even more atrocious because another guildie who's elemental wants in from time to time and that kills us. Just remember, as you're banging your head against that resto druid/lock combo, that it could be worse -- you could be teamed w an elemental shammy.

2pc T4 bonus is a chance for your melee hits to generate an extra 20 energy in cat or an extra 10 rage in bear. It can be a substantial boost to dps.

To comment on on the "It just doesn't feel right" part, have you considered PVPing on a different character? I'm not big on PVP on my warlock 'main' but I've been having a blast with it on my newly 70 warrior. Maybe druid just isn't the class for you when it comes to PVP.

After making a druid and leveling him to 70 all the other classes seem to be lacking.

Tried a rogue but I couldn't heal myself..
Tried a hunter but I get bored just standing back shooting..
Tried a mage but it felt like a crippled moonkin..
and so on until my altism was cured.
