Bored at work and wanted to get some feedback on my Priesty.

I am about 3 days out from having my primal mooncloth chest, so that is an upgrade I have taken care of, and I know my head piece blows.

So here is my question. Would you feel comfortable having me as one of your healers in ZA or SSC? I am not an avid raider atm, more into Heroics right now because of time contraints. But if I were to head into ZA or SSC would I be a hinderance to the raid as a Healer?

Thanks for the input and critiques in advance.

Hmmm looks pretty good so far. As far as Raiding SSC and ZA, sure you could do it if you had the time to invest and your wife didnt harp on you all the time.

Then again if your wife didnt harp on you about playing wow you may never get anything in RL done.

Take it for what it is my 2coppers.

Hey,

Thanks for taking the time. =)

My first thought was "mp5 is a bit low" but then you're getting your PMC robe soon so you'll get ~40 Mp5 from the set bonus so no worries.

Health is ok, you'll be over 8k raid buffed, +healing is fine, my only concern is your mana as you'll be losing some INT with the PMC robe you probably want to be aiming for 9k+ which along with the Mp5 increase should see you through.

You'd not be a burden though you'll need to use your cooldowns wisely on the longer fights.

Yeah, thats what I figured. I don't really have the time to raid anyhow but if or when I do, I'll head back into Kara and then do Gruuls/Mag.

Thanks again for taking the time to give me a gear check.

Much appreciated.

Should be fine for SSC once you got the pmc robe with spirit enchant and put an inscription on the shoulders. ZA a little tougher maybe, stamina may be low for Hex Lord, but should be ok in a group with 3 healers. Perhaps enchant the boots with vitality, stamina or boar's speed.

I wouldn't mind. My first thought when I scrolled trough the gear is that there's too many blues in there. Then I noticed your +1800 healing, which is 800 more than my priest who'se doing Kara (as discipline, given).

'sokay. You weren't the only not paying attention. []

As for the OP - One question. Why do you have a mystic spellthread on your legs instead of a golden spellthread? Or even a silver? The +healing is better on the silver for the same +stam and the golden beats 'em both out.

You might also want to consider re-enchanting your chest piece. Smiley: grin +5 mana ... please tell me it's there as a joke?

Also, the Scryer shoulder enchant's been mentioned. Get it. Quickly.

On your gems. You'll find that you won't take that much of a bonus healing hit if you swap the +13 healing gems out for +9healing/+4SPI gems (http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=32836;source=live the Purified Shadow pearl). It'll definitely help your mana regen out.

I have the mystic spell thread because I am a tailor and I made that myself. I still dont have all the rep for the Golden. When I get the rep you can rest assured that I will be putting that on. I know I could just get another Tailor to do it, but then why the heck am I a tailor. I am happy waiting tell I can sew that patch on myself =).

This is still enchanted from when I was trying my hand at Enchanting. Lucky for all you DE'ers out there I hated Enchanting, so I wont be another one to compete with for DE'ing AH items.

Im assuming that this is another quest reward. Still dont have all my scryer rep. Once I do Ill be getting it. On Scryer rep, does it **** anyone else as much as me when non scryer people think they have a right to roll on my tomes when running say Heroic Mech. I get even more upset when they say how much they are worth on the AH. **** people NEED BEFORE GREED!!!!!!

Inscription of the Oracle is available once you've reached honored with Scryers, and Greater Inscription of the Oracle is available at exalted. They are available for 2 and 8 Arcane Runes respectively, Arcane Runes are available in exchange for Arcane Tomes from Voren'thal the Seer, Scryer Tier.

You are revered so you can pick up the lesser one now from Inscriber Veredis in the Scryer Bank.

Gathering from your other answers, you're Scryer... and if I remember correctly, the Golden Spellthread pattern is an Aldor pattern. So, you're going to have to have someone else make it anyway.

Shoot, I new my reasoning had a major flaw in it. Looks like Ill be finidng a fellow tailor with Aldor rep.

Yea, dropping all your common gems for Purified Shadow Pearls help your regen, as would PMC (between the two of them, fully buffed, you'd gain about 50mp5 while casting). If you're really tight on cash, Purified Jaggals might even work, though you're taking more of a +healing hit.

Enchant your boots with either Vitality or Boar's Speed. I like the run speed and extra stamina, myself.
