My guild has mostly moved on from Kara a little while ago, I've been helping some of the newbies to get geared and to get badges for myself in Kara.
Now I'm ready to step up to ZA/Mag/Gruul. We try and be sure about loot and which drops we want from each boss before we get there, so less time is spent sitting around doing nothing. I'm looking at the drops available, and... nothing. I can't see a single drop that I would want. The Grim Grin face guard wouldn't totally suck, but I'll probably go grind out the merciless helm instead. There's a fair amount of kitty stuff to be had for sure but nothing I need beyond my tokens.
Am I totally missing something, or is it a waste of time for me from a gear point of view?

T4 tokens. That's about it.
Edit to add: If it's any consolation, all raid dungeons are pretty much the same for feral tanking pieces (ie. there are none). Claoks, rings, necklaces, and trinkets are about the best you can hope for. SSC trash drops the staff rated on Emmerald's list as the top feral druid staff for mitigation and it's a fairly common drop, but I learned early on that if I'm to get tanking armor from a raid dungeon, it's going to come in the form of a token.
I actually swapped out my S2 helm for the T4 helm. I lost a bit of stamina but gained some dodge and AP. Everything I upgrade now represents a stamina trade-off, but it will start to pick up again as I start adding more T5 pieces to my ensemble.
I enjoy 25-mans despite the lack of tanking gear options. I know the options are there...they just aren't as prolific as they might be for some other classes.

S2 set/S4 offset pieces. =P
do some arena and pick up some s3 hehe. i'm working on my s3 chest till i can get the badge ones but i figure i can get the lower badge stuff first since almost have the points for chest.
za/gruuls, IMHO, is only worth for dps, in feral form.
gruul for the t4 shoulder (you have to keep 2 t4 pieces forever, so keep helm and shoulder so you can switch the others for raid/badge items) and the trinket that every hunter and most of melee want (Dragonspine Trophy).
za for the cloak that drops for first chest, ring on third chest and trinket from zul'jin, wich is a sidegrade for Dragonspine Trophy.

I've only seen feral tanking pieces drop from kara. Thats really about it.

Other tanks get it only marginally better. Tanks are badges and tokens, everyone else gets...everything else lol
It is good and bad. It keeps me on the top of the DKP table :) and means I can do extra heroics etc to gear up quicker instead of having to raid an instance once a week for a chance the item will drop.
Rarebeast when did you get a title for your name?
I read the info and found out that as a Premium Member, I can just select a title in the options lol :)
