Ret ProfsFollow

Hey, I'm leveling a Ret alt, mainly for PvP use of smashing faces, but also cuz I like the class, but I'm having a hard time deciding professions. Obviously, engineering is a great PvP proffesion, and I was thinking of getting Blacksmithing as the other (my main has gold out the *** to fund), and I was wondering a few things, a) If I do go BS, is hammersmith or swordsmith the way to go? Obviously the stun proc is nice for JoComm, but 100 STR is nothing to laugh at, and Lionheart executioner has more base str also, though it lacks the stam. b) Would it even be worth taking up, seeing that the S2 weapons have comparable stats and are relatively easy to get? And if so, what would be another good proffesion?

Go Enginering/enchanting. I've been overall disappointed with blacksmithing...but since my pally isn't going to do much PvP or likely raiding, the top level swordsmith weapon is about as good as he can get (T4 ish equivalent, I believe). But you can replace weapons with SX PvP gear, I'm sure.
