Greeting to all expert shaman out there, I have a question that hope someone can help clarify for me. Does the Tranquil Totem buff stack with Pally Blessing of Salvation ? Tranquil totem is not a frequent use totem (keep in drawer) for me until recently I try to use it for a boss fight were dps have to be very discipline on the thread generation.

Some say yes it stack and some say no it won't stack.. so better use others totem. I normally check on wowwiki where most of the basic thingy is there, and I found out they said yes and no to this question..kind of funny :)

Maybe guys can have a look and give me an idea

http://www.wowwiki.com/Tranquil_Air_Totem

Thank you in advance for your help. Cheers :)

Umm, im pretty sure Wowwiki gives you the answer...

Quote:
This does stack with Blessing of Salvation multiplicatively, for about 44% total threat reduction.

The other air totems will normally give the dps a larger dps boost than this totem can provide. The totem isn't really needed unless there a few things happening that shouldn't be:

1) Terrible tank with low TPS
2) No pally in the raid for salv (But what serious raid doesn't bring a pally)
3) Stupid dps don't actually watch there agro and use agro loss abilities at the right time (which almost every class has except for a few which wont normally need them except in an AoE fight or bad tank)

Which just so happens to include the Shaman class, who if gets the early triple crit WF, dies unmercifully because he can't dump aggro :(

And the elemental, who, while standing around bored decides to fire off a simple tiny little lightning bolt spell, and...err... forgetting momentarily that he was now 70 and in purples with a Wrath of Air Totem down and, errr..(clear throat)...mmm... max talent points in Lightning Overload which just happened to go off accidentally at the wrong time, and forgetting about the 650+ damage and crit bonus'...yeah, ummm...that was, errr... this guy I know of, yeah, not me, just some guy, ummm, and I wasn't there, yeah, thats the ticket... I WASN'T THERE...I was just told about it. Boy, was HIS *** handed to him on a platter...that guy that is.

Boy, that guy wasn't an expert at all. He'd have no right posting in this topic! I'll, errr....I'll keep an eye out for him and chase him away if he tries to post.
