As I slowly work on getting my gear up to kara standards I'm contantly faced with my 2 green quest swords. I'm really hoping that someone will be able to link me swords that are available outside of kara, and that aren't the PVP season 2 or 3 swords that I see a lot of rogues wielding.
Not a huge PVP fan, and the thought of having to grind that much honor for the 2 swords really sours me, but if that's all there is then I guess I really don't have much choice than to just suck it up and grind away.
I know that there are some decent daggers available as rep rewards and a few blue daggers from some quests (least I think I remember seeing some) but I'd really rather stay combat swords, so hopefully someone knows where I can get some better swords

The best pre-Kara offhand sword (besides PvP swords) is probably Latro's Shifting Sword. BM is a quick instance, and you can look for the trinket drop from there as well. As far as mainhand swords go, you could always try for the matching Latro's Dancing Blade from MgT.
Honestly though, the PvP swords blow both of those out of the water, and it's probably easier to grind honor than it is to grind those instances and hope for drops.

true forgot about those 2, problem is that on my server at least, both BM and durnholde are pretty bare as far as finding groups since most people now just skip doing the key quests that take you to both,but i might try and hit MgT a few times even if sword doesn't drop, the rep is always nice, thx
Demea already pointed you to some good PVE swords. Other options include Edge of Cosmos from the Mechanar or Vindicators Brand from Aldor exalted reputation. Good off hand swords are much harder to come by, besides Latros the only one that comes to mind would be Quickening Blade from Kael, but that would require heroic MgT.
Personally I would just go grind the honor and get S2 swords though, they will destroy anything you could get from PVE at your current progression.

I totally agree with Demea and SelinaKorain. I would also say that you should farm honor for S2 swords. You won't find anything better outside raids than those two swords. Getting them is not that hard, at least you know you will get them and you won't ask yourself if that one fixed sword from instance will drop or not.
BTW: you can watch AH and buy Blinkstrike. But then again, S2 swords are just better.

The S2 swords are just so damn good. And really, it's a pita, but the time investment to grind the honor is so worth it.
Barring those, see above. To add to the those suggestions. there's the Sunbreaker from SSO rep which you'll probably grind anyway. But it's honestly, kinda meh. And in the time you can grind revered with SSO, you could easily have the s2 swords.
