Need suggestions on what to do...Follow
So I just started playing again after a 6 month break. It seems pointless to carry on my collection of badges to get the gear I wanted before, as I assume level 71 gear will make it obsolete which is less than 2 months away. Rep farming will likely be pointless too for the same reason. So I was wondering what other people are doing whilst waiting for the expansion? I might just build up as much honor as I can, or are there any other suggestions that wouldn't have been time wasted when the expansion is released?
Id probably farm gold for the craft able gear at 80 and for rep awards/mats. Also get honor cap and if your in an arena team get as much points as you can.

Just because there is an upcoming expansion that will make your current stuff obsolete doesn't mean that you can't enjoy optimizing yourself for the time being.
Also, I think it'll be more than 2 months.
Same, I'm grinding out pvp gear because I want to and maybe it will last a while, maybe it won't. Still need to pass the time somehow.

From what I've seen thus far, I won't be replacing the pieces of badge gear I have til late 70s or even til 80. If you're into PvP, though, you might consider stockpiling honor points and BG tokens for 80. Maybe even arena points. And you can't go wrong with stockpiling gold.

I'm currently raiding on my main (as I still have a lot of content left to see) and working on upgrading my alts gear through instances and dailies. I may replace all that gear when WotLK comes out (and find the rep is obsolete), but I will still have enjoyed the processof those upgrades, or the sense of acheivement from gaining them.

Could anyone please explain what "badges" for Kara or w/e are?
