Rogue/mage vs Lock/PallyFollow

Okay, so having recently begun semi-serious arena action my mage buddy and I have started working on arena strategy and all that fun stuff.

We go for the most basic strategy, CC one target and burn the living hell our of the other, but there's just one team that really seems to have our number...

Warlocks + Paladin. Any spec really, (I honestly don't know what the major differences for a warlock are between their talent trees, but I understand the pally ones very well)

Our usual issue is that we honestly don't know which to CC. If I sap the warlock he'll just trinket out and keep his puppy on my mage making CC very difficult for my mage, causing me to blow my blind trying to keep him CCed. When we try to burn through the paladin he can simply bubble and leave us right where we started (except usually us with less health than before.

Our other strategy is to sap the paladin but that usually means he trinkets out of one just to bubble out of another, causing us to spend a lot of time trying to keep the pally down while the lock just wastes my mage. Usually this doesn't work because the pally simply bubbles himself and/or the lock.

The only real plan I can think of is to try and get them to pop their trinkets and bubbles early, then Vanish/Ice block through their bubbles. Another thing I've been thinking of is to Blind the Fel-puppy or even burn it down right after CCing the warlock or paladin.

Any and all information regarding combating this comp is greatly appreciated.

**I'd like to note that I'm going to be looking through Theo's PvP guide for any bits of info on this team setup, I had looked through earlier but failed to notice anything on my original "skimming" session.**

Spellsteal BoSac, Poly paladin, kill lock. Ice Block/Vanish on Bubble, don't waste a pet until the pally bubbles. He'll bubble quickly if BoSac goes down.

Odds are it's Gaudion or one of the other butthurt shamans. I tell them that their class--when played right--can do exceptionally well in PvP and they proceed to throw hissy fits and tell me I don't know sh*t.

I don't know who else it would be, but I've learned to ignore my rating. It's pretty tough now to dislodge me from Scholar, with all the threads I've written for the rogue forums and how much they get rated up.

Edit: with the publication of what will hopefully be the new rogue class sticky, I can delete most of the stuff in my journal here and make it into an arena forum so that there'll be a place to discuss arena.
