Crit Chance??Follow

Hello!
I have a 56 B.E Hunter and his crit chance is currently 9.65%.
Why is it sOoO low(?),.. I talk to people who have crit chances of 15+ even 20+!
How is it possible at this level?
Should i get Agility or go for Crit Chance on items?
My Agi = 117+192 = 309

So, Any help would be cool,
Thanks!

The people with those kinds of numbers are at end game. I've got ~32% in basically Kara gear and below.

Then again, I also have right at 750 Agi and survival talents. <shrug>

I think BM puts me at like 25%, but I haven't been BM in quite some time so I don't remember.

Crit doesn't really matter while leveling. Go for AP/Agi/Crit/Stam/Int/MP5 in roughly that order while leveling.

My BE hunter at level 40 has 7.70 crit , that was without trying for crit and in poor gear as i refuse to pay more than a few G for any item that i know can be replaced as soon as i hit outland.

My 70 hunter has only 17.7 crit in fairly rubbish gear as i do not do instances or rarely group.

My advice is use whatever you find in outland and fully forget about it until you get there , as has been said agility and attack power all help but in this game is a balance as you will find you boost one stat and lose something else.

You will have more chance to get decent gear if you do the instances in outland but there are so many Quest rewards and drops good for Hunters you will find you have fun trying to decide what is best for you.

Start to worry about crit at 70 not before and check out Aethien,s guide on gear

That should give you a good idea what to aim for at 70

most high critrates are from endgame.
I have about 31-32% crit as BM spec, 35+ as SV.
This is simply because my gear all comes from T5 and 6 instances.

The same will happen to you when you strt to get somewhat better gear, the more rare and epic gear you get the higher your crit and AP will become.

i actually feel like thats kind of low. when i was at lvl 35ish, my crit chance was a little over 14%. since then its fallen because i've leveled and havent been able to find suitable gear that gives enough additional agi to maintain that crit %. however, i did just hit 58 and im around 13.2% right now and i've been running around thinking thats really low.

so can an experienced hunter please tell me, is 13% crit as a lvl 58 hunter high, low, or on par?

That's roughly where I was.

Doesn't really matter till you're 70 one way or the other.

As you level, "Crit Chance" gear scales down. So if you have anything that says "increases critical strike chance by X," your crit rating will drop as soon as you level. Take Fletcher's gloves for example. At level 20, a hunter with Lethal Shots and those gloves can easily have ~16% crit rating, but it drops down to about ~14% once you hit level 25.

10% crit chance really doesn't seem obscenely low for level 56. Why don't you post your armory, so we can see if you're balancing your stats evenly.

You will find your crit chance rockets when you enter outlands. My hunter (lvl70) has around 25% crit in half rare-half epic lvl70 gear. MM specced.
