That's probably something that you have a very high chance of dying while taming. Smiley: laugh

How do you trap something which is already colder than the effects of your trap?

Update: NEW EXOTIC PETS
Worms and Silithids so far. New patch just came out, so everyone's running around trying to see what they can and can't tame.

I wonder if they will let us have dragons? Ever since I saw one of these in Ashenvale,

Fey Drake

I always wanted one. I have never been a BM hunter (marks/surv only), I would consider re-speccing my hunter for the chance to tame one!

I'm hoping for hippogryphs and wyverns, but not keeping my hopes too high... I like having my pets match my mount, and as soon as my hunter hits OL she's going to start grinding cenarion rep so she can eventually get the hippogryph mount.

Dragons would also be cool, but since most of them are already available as minipets (the whelplings and the sprite darter hatchling) I don't really see it happening. That, plus they're supposed to be extremely powerful and intelligent...

I would also love it if that druid-bear in Ashenvale was tameable for horde.

Just tamed me one of the elite Devilsaurs in Un'goro. His name is now officially RaptorJeezus.

I would like to tame a female night elf druid in bear form, and have the tame persist through shifting. >.>

But mostly a barrens giraffe.

I would prefer a giraffe as my dwarf's mount rather than have it as a pet. I wouldn't mind taming that massive Terrokarantula spider in Outlands and have it keep its size though. I'd probably be having constant mini anxiety attacks since I'm arachnophobic... But it would be worth it to see that big ******* clear paths in front of me.

Fwiw, when I hit BW, RaptorJeezus grows to truly gargantuan size, usually eliciting a /cheer from anyone on either side who happens to pass by. It's pretty cool.

I'd consider a pterrordax or a mana worm as some exotic pets. Not to say I'd necessarily use them if they were available, but they're definitely exotic choices. Basilisks, imo, aren't that exotic, and should be a normally-tameable beast. I would have picked them much sooner than moths.

Well, how about a 52 point 'unexotic' pets training ability...

That would let us train those critters everyone is talking about.

I want the vicious bunny of death as well. It would immediately become level 65, have growl, bite, claw, and seduce (the Succubus skill) that would even work on bosses. I can see it now... "Look at the kewt 'ittle bitty bunny! Awww!" while the party heals and mana's back up.

Bunny's, don't Raid without them.

I want a silithid for PvP. Netting plus a poison DOT. What's not to love?

Eh, I'm keeping Humar. A steady companion for years now, he has never let me down so far. I highly doubt he will let me down in the years to come. I'm still not convinced 51 point BM is going to be my kind of specc unless they really upgrade the dps of Exotic pets.

What if you get the 51 point talent, tame the exotic pet, and get to keep them if you respec out of 51 point? Would you do it then just to get the cool pet?
#49 Aug 19 2008 at 8:41 PM Rating: Good
Meh. Got the coolest pet in the game.
