Hi, I'm new at WoW and being a paladin. I'm having trouble weighing the value of vindication in the retribution tree?

:) thanks for looking into it (:

Vindication is nice for PvP, and I also found it to be useful in PvE/questing/levelling. It works on virtually anything in PvP or PvE early in the game. LATER in the game it is much less useful, especially since raid bosses are completely immune to it. For the most part, if you want to put some points there while levelling your Paladin, there is nothing wrong with it... I would never max it, but one or two points is fine.

Don't worry about having to put those points somewhere else later... you are a Paladin. Paladins re-spec OFTEN, sometimes several times a day! (Although I try not to do it THAT often!)
