With good PVP gear, you're HP should be high enough to withstand a good beating, but more Resilience will continue to help cut down on ridiculous burst damage that is the bane of Warlocks. With few viable ohshi buttons, burst classes can generally take us out quick if they get those lucky criticals in, so for your gems, boosting Resilience is the way to go.
I do suggest that you fill in the correct color, though, as the extra bonuses from using the correct gems is usually a nice extra boost. What you cannot fill with Resilience, go in with any HP you can find, and spell damage wont hurt.
As for kiting Rogues, it's a difficult situation. If you're outgeared, dont have enough resilience, or make a bad move you can consider yourself out. This doesn't mean you should just stand there and let them beat you to death, because there is much to do in the mean time. As with any bad situation, your best bet is to try to do as much as you can before your unable to do anything else.
Simply running around, switching directions and strafing makes life harder for a rogue. CoS can get them out of a lot of bad situations, but most of the time they wait to use it until their feared. Having them blow this at an opportune time is crucial. My advice is that once they've blown their cover and attempted to quickslay you, blow your abilities/trinkets to establish any distance you can, and throw on an Amplified Exhaustion. Saving fears is good, if you can, because the diminishing returns means after you blow a few (3 or so) and they get out of em, the spell is worthless for a good amount of time.
In the mean time, also, while you're kiting this rogue, be throwing on snares, DoTs, and anything else you can to any other enemies in the area. In arenas, Warlocks are great at seperating up teams. If/when you get a nightfall use it, and keep your Felpuppy on the healer or most dangerous caster.
In essense, when dealing with a rogue... sometimes theres not much you can do to the Rogue himself... but that doesn't mean there's nothing to be done =)
