I've just rolled a dwarven pally a couple of days ago, sittin pretty at about lv 14 atm.

Just curious, for any of the other vertically-challenged crusaders out there, how often do you guys pop stoneform? Is it really used that often? I can see how it can be useful, and I understand how it works. Just wondering if it's something I'll be using at later levels, or if you have any scenarios in which it would be smart to utilize it.

Thanks.

Hi,

I have a dwarf pally and can say I use stoneform a lot in pvp (which I mainly do) it is extremely useful against rogues with all their poisons for a start, I probably use it at least once per BG prob more. Also useful against hunter snake traps as well, that and a consecrate and their trap is useless.

Haven't found it to be much use in pve though tbh, but if you get poisoned etc then pop it. It is more of a pvp skill.

In PVE, It’s a free cleanse (no mana)use it all the time. All Dwarves are "self cleaning" ;). It does come into play in the current 10-man content . In Kara, during the Morose fight and when tanking the bear boss in ZA. The both have nasty bleed affects. It is the best racial dwarves have. A lot better than the whole firearms proficiency.

Hunter = perfect
Warrior and Rogue = just a stat stick
Priest and Pally = doesn’t use them

If you ever get your pally to ZA stoneform is really handy for dealing with the bleeds from the bear boss. I imagine there are other similar uses you'll find as you level, definately keep it on your bar....
