Hi all,

Well its true what everybody says you know,

"It's all in the FAQ!"

It really is. Trouble with that though is I dont look a very good premium member with naff all posts and I cant possibly reply to a lot of the Hunter topics in this forum because to be honest I am not the greatest hunter out thier Smiley: lol

So that was it really. Sorry to waste your time and oh hang on a moment...

Get rid of Spirit Bond, Imp. Stings, and Imp. Arcane Shot and drop a point or two in Imp. Aspect of the Hawk.

Max out Mortal Shots, Go For the Throat and Rapid Killing in MM and max out Ferocious Inspiration and get Imp Rez Pet in BM.

what are you trying to do with your hunter? do you primarily raid or pvp?

If you're raiding, then Darkrein is absolutely right.

If you're mostly doing PvP, then Stings and Arcane shot are fine, but you're really gimping other really important skills. BM is pretty limited in Arenas, since they almost always last longer than the duration of BW/TBW, but then you're stuck with no tricks up your sleeve for another 2 minutes, which leaves you a sitting duck.

If you are trying arenas, check out the PvP build that Aethien is using. His is really great for long drain fights

You have gotten some nice gear since posting. I have a few quick thoughts to share though:

The talent changes recommended above are a significant boost in DPS.

I would say you are low on AP.

I posted and showed rusttle how the proper encants could give approximately 150 AP and quite a bit of crit, merely to show how +12 agi this and +26ap that really adds up - get the right enchants it is huge.

REP-get revered with cenarion and you will be able to get the glyph of ferocity +34Ap and +16 hit, Huge. Get revered with Honor Hold and get the hellforged halberd 26AGI 92AP and +15 hit. You have plenty of hit points so I would say it is even better than the sonic spear for you. For the short term dual weilding the swords or daggers from SSO rep is a good option and is much better than what you have on the hit alone. Enchant them with +20 AGI, it seems like you have plenty of gold.

There are 2 quest rings with +15AGI, +50AP and +10 hit, better than what you have now and even better than my exalted Kara ring if I don't need the hit on it. SMV I think look them up.

S-2 Helm is better than T4 and takes 2 days in BG to get. It has a meta gem which is also big dps boost and it is basically a Skull - looks very cool.

Sticky has many options for the chest - felstalker is better dps than yours I think. Get rep from COT and make drums til 375 and make the ebon netherscale chest. Running durn could get you a nice cape and the trinket from BM is highly coveted hunter item(good luck seeing it though) This will save you a lot of money for those last 8 points. Also, when you get your AP up a bit, run Magisters Terrace, last boss drops a really nice chest on regular(nicer than anything in Kara, but the LW chest is too).

That is about it for gear, I hate to say it but any of the vindicator gear is very good for boots/bracers, so BG is a good way to get many upgrades.

Brilliant thanks for that info.

I admit Gold isnt much of an issue, it shouldnt be for any level 70 with the dailies available at the moment. I shall grind those for some more rep and gold at the various suggested places and go for some of the gear as well. Then a little tweak of my tree and with luck I will be good enough for MgT and such like.
