Fun time on Rogue finally..... boring story.Follow

Just a little background to start off with. I started playing wow on and off since the release. I was a FFXI addict and never had friends that wanted to play wow. I let my sister take over my account she got hooked. Then she found a man that plays wow too. After a year plus of pressure from them to switch I decided to start a new account, she has 4 70s on my old one. I was told I should be a Mage by my brother-in-law. Which I did and took it to 70, but I really had no fun on it as every time I played wow I always levitated to being a Rogue and it is always fun for me.

So I started a Rogue. 1-40 was easy, I dual box PLed myself then when I got a mount decided its time to learn how to start playing Rogue, again. 40-58 was fairly easy. The only thing that slowed me down was getting jumped by a random 70 gathering and most of the time they ran past me anyway. I dont think I saw a single horde the whole time my level. I hit 58 in 4 days of play time and went to outlands.

Here things got frustrating. Everywhere I turned there seemed to be a 70 wanting to jump me, mostly srubs in green and blue quest items still riding a land mount. They would jump me when I was fighting a mob and try and burst me down. Most of the time it worked and I ate dirt, several times though I was able to blind, vanish and hide. This ticked me off but I was on a PVP realm and things happen.

While leveling I am always on the look out for a good battle between some one of +-2 lvs to test out my skills. I never seem to find any that are not being guarded. As i get closer to 70 I notice less and less ganking, which is fine by me I would like to level in peace but the nature of the game forbids it. This brings me to me actually having fun on Rogue in PVP situation.

Lv63 just outside UB. I am turning in a quest that starts the dungeon quest line for UB, I swim through the pipe and notice 4 70s, 2 pally 2 shaman, sitting around the quest giver. I am trying to figure out how to turn in the quest and get away from 4 70s when I notice they start dueling. My brain begins to turn and I decide to take out the looser right as he is defeated. I setup as far away as I can from the dueler and away from the other 2. I see the shaman do down to his knee, bam I hit shadowstep and CS him. Down he goes +17 honor for me. I hit vanish and sprint into the instance. After I finished laughing, I decided it was best to log out for a while to let the heat die down.

Lv64 boneyard gully just north of the caravan T Forest. I just ding 64 and am doing a quest where I beat a drum to call a giant worm. I am right on the road trying to get worms to pop up, lots of horde and ally riding past me paying me no attention. When all of a sudden I get shot by a Hunter. I am with in a few steps of the caravan and pop down there he chases me. The guards jump on him and he takes off. I kill the mob I was on pop a health pot stealth and head off in the direction he went. I see the 64 Hunter at half health just sitting there. So I pounce on him hoping for a fight. He hits me with scatter shot and runs to the camp.

Bad ideal on his part, I shadow step get right by him but dont attack his pet is still on me and bam guards attack him once again. I laugh stand there as he runs and gets killed. At this point I am still mad b/c I didnt get a fair fight. So I mount up run off till I cant see him and then pop off and stealth back. Wait for him to res and see where he runs off to. I let him eat get back to about 70% health then jump on him again. This time he is to far from the caravan to run to so he runs around like an idiot. I kill him and sit on his body.

This time I decide not to stealth and let him know I am there. He resed at max distance and starts trying to mount when I shadow step to him and beat him down again. At this point I feel that he has got my point. I decide to go back to calling worms, not in the area where I had been killing him.

I know now that as I get closer to 70 the fun is just going to increase.

*lost my train of thought several times during writing this. Damn work and people interrupting me*
