So true. They should replace cower with a sneak up and kill talent. Maybe a prowl type skill.

Yep. Currently it's tamable by any hunter, but I'd guess it'll be an exotic pet as the 51 point BM talent isn't implemented yet. I don't even care about how good it is, I'm getting one.

As it stands right now, it is most likely the best possible dps pet.

It will be a bit of min-maxing to see if the difference between a raptor and a devilsaur is worth the change from 48/18/5 to 51/15/5.
that will depend mostly on raidcomposition, and wether or not you're the designated IHM *****.

It might be the most likely but things are most likely to change anyway.

I would say it's by far worth the change if someone else is putting up imp HM (like a survival hunter maybe). The fact that you also get 5 more talents will really help with survivability, if not really increasing your pet's dps. That alone makes it worth it to get the talent even if the dps increase from a raptor is a wash.

In addition it's fucking sweet! How could you not get one.

Heh, I like the idea of taming a devilsaur. However in raids you can expect people to complain about your huge pet and how it gets in the way. . . and I'm jealous as I don't have WoTLK beta. <sniff>

Not only that but it can be used to our advantage in bg's. Just put the pet on the flag so it is harder to click on. I see them sizing the pet down in the near future
