2. If you mean the talent where they go faster when mounted, hunters have that too in the expac, not to mention crusader aura of Paladins

Crusader Aura and Aspect of the Pack benefit the entire party. They're really quite charitable.

I didn't mean Aspect of the Pack, I meant the Talent "Pathfinding" which gives Cheetah and Pack 4/8% increase in speed but also gives 5/10% increase to the hunters mounted speed.

I guess Blizzard's heading in a different direction then.

Still stinks to me.

Edit: Oh, it's a talent. That makes it less stinky. I read it as the mount being 20% faster just base. If they have to spend talent points to get that buff that's fine.

Normal flying mounts do not cost 940g, the riding skill costs that much but the mount is very cheap.

Currently, the DK skill AND mount cost almost 1k each. The compensation being it is a 100% mount at 225 skill, and a 270% mount at 300 skill.

Why 270%? Epics are 280%, what would be the point flying on a slower than normal epic?

Exactly how fast do you expect a gryphon to fly when it has no feathers or skin?

The same way I expect a skeleton with no muscles or flesh to tank for me.

Magic?

The bike is cool. I already want one.

The skeletal gryphon doesn't fit anywhere in wow. Even if they did revamp it to make it look all flashy and shiny like the deathcharger, it doesn't fit. They could even steal the spectral model that was done for EPL but it's still not very fitting.

A DK should get something more like a frost wyrm (unholy wyrm or blood wyrm if you prefer?) or some kind of gargoyle-type flying mount. Not only lore-wise but also because Gryphons don't fit the undead "theme" very well.

There's something about the eagle head that makes it not fit the topic. It has a beak, it doesn't have pointy teeth, horns, eyebrows or any of that stuff that give it the expression necessary to imply "I'm a beast from the darkest pits of hell and I will scare little children on sight". As it is, it kind of implies something more like "a birdie that got sick and died".

Also, they already got the whole dragon mount animations done, all they need to do to get a frost wyrm is remodel-reskin the dragon mounts.

Chicken's looking a little tastier now.

my only beef is with the wings. Why not have some of that blue glowy stuff give the outline of a normal wing, with the bones inside it. It just really looks bleh whenever it flaps the wings. They did such a good job with the netherdrake, and such a terrible job with the flying chicken.

No. No.

A thousand times NO, that is the most godawful atrocity I've ever seen a player sitting on...

It now looks like nothing so much as the DK rezzed a Cenarion Hyppogryph or whatever but missed the cup holder on his old land mount so sliced off its' head and crammed it onto the freshly mobilised bird-corpse he just found.

It looks dire, it's just a random cross between two 3D models that some junior artist whipped up in a frenzy of "Hey guys I have this great idea can I make it next push canIcanIcanI????"

It's lazy, it's stupid, and if it makes release I will cut myself. I dont think I could even stomach casting the damn thing.

I'd like Blizz to make the Death Knight Flying mount a flying horse like the Headless Horseman's. lol

Right.

Except that I hate the stupid tea-strainer fly-eye armour they wear. Gonna have to make mine get a Netherdrake v.v

The one linked to in the OP was the placeholder. The armoured one they have now is it.
