Yeah def could use ALOT more detail, looks like they just stripped the feathers and skin of the normal Gryphon. Plain Wrong!

I can't stop laughing that thing is SOOOOOOO ugly. I think I'll stick with the normal one unless they do some serious work. For petes sake at least give the thing some armour... I mean Come on Blizzard thats just lame as it stands.
I don't even know why they released the damn thing in this push... it looks absolutely god-awful, part of being a DK is attitude and appearance and that thing completely divests you of both. You could be carrying all the Legendaries you want, riding that piece of crap shoves you onto the ****** table in the canteen.

I've read very interesting things about that Mount. You can ride it without epic riding skill, but there's a kicker; it costs 940g.
Apparently, and I actually cant remember which website I got this from so apologies in advance, if you have epic riding skill the mount upgrades itself to a 280% flying mount; without it, it reverts to a 100% flying mount, the fastest non-epic in the game.
If that is true, I dont care what it looks like. Having a mount that costs a reasonable amount and doesnt require me to 'air-swim' at 60% is all I want really.

A little more work? The artwork on the thing make the April Fools Atari game look high tech. That cannot possibly be work from the artists at Blizzard, or if it is then someone needs to get fired. It's not just ugly, it's unprofessional.

Uh...don't normal non-epic mounts cost that? I don't know seeing as my only 70's a druid.

Normal flying mounts do not cost 940g, the riding skill costs that much but the mount is very cheap.
Currently, the DK skill AND mount cost almost 1k each. The compensation being it is a 100% mount at 225 skill, and a 270% mount at 300 skill.

And a speed nerf. DKs having an inherently faster mount than all other classes is just favouritism.

1. DK's flight mount is the same speed as the others.
2. If you mean the talent where they go faster when mounted, hunters have that too in the expac, not to mention crusader aura of Paladins
3. Having something different or original isn't favoratism. OMG Pallies/Locks get free mounts! Druids get flight form! Shamen get Ghost wolf!

Isn't the DK one supposed to be 100% though for the non-epic flight speed? Or has that been changed? Normal mounts are 60%.
I agree, based on the things Micros pointed out, it isn't exactly "favoritism", but just wanted to point out they are indeed faster (again, unless this was changed and I didn't read about it yet). It's a perk of the class I guess you could say.
