I am leveling my Warrior and and currently 1/2 a level away from 35.
Through my Mains I have acquired a Fiery War Axe and have decided to put Mongoose on it.
Ok, so I realize this is a bit of overkill, but I am pretty excited to try this puppy out, especially since I will be getting Flurry at 35 as well.
Am I right in thinking that this is going to be a major DPS boost or am I in for a let down.
This is my first Warrior (Melee DPS actually) so, while it looks good on paper to me; I am looking for some validation on it.

Unless you're extremely rich I wouldn't put mongoose on it. Instead put a cheaper enchant like fiery on it.
I usually avoid enchants while leveling. It's usually not worth it. Most of the time you'll be slaughtering mobs left and right without them anyways. You'd usually be better off spending the money on gear upgrades. Either way both will last about the same amount of levels.

i assume you're getting this for twinking at 39? in that case, it's going to be pretty nice - no stats, but good dps and a nice proc. i don't know what the right build is for a 39 twink, maybe a poleaxe build?
of course, it would be good for PVE at 35 (you will want to get imp. slam), but you will out-level it so quickly that it's really hard to justify all that $$. especially since leveling is so fast these days. this axe will last you 10-15 levels and then it's vendor fodder...

Cash really isn't an issue, both my 70's have their epic mounts and the G is just sitting in my bank. ;)
Update:
Dinged and spent a little time capping my 2 hand Axe skill, and I was not disappointed.
Mongoose was proc'ing a lot, and when Flurry went off....Mobs just laid down like I was a 70 hitting it.
I'm loving it!
