How else was I going to get you to read my thread?

Anyway, in another thread, I had posted this build (2/48/11) to see if I had put my points in correctly. After thinking about it, how well does Molten Fury really work against raid bosses and whatnot? Would it be better if I put those points in something like Playing With Fire, and have the build set up like this?

I tried putting the build together with what the FAQ said were good talents and what would be useless in PVE (very helpful by the way). So, I'm still trying to know what would be useful, since I haven't had much experience with these talents (still trying to get a scorch rotation down).

If there's another thread that explains this, please point me in that direction (or shoot me down for being an annoying noob). I'd greatly appreciate it (the pointing me in the direction part... wouldn't really like being shot down). Thanks a lot! =)

You can armory me if you would like.

Get rid of impact and put it into playing with fire + dragon's breath. Leaves you with 1 pt to put wherever you want.

Do this instead. Basically, I add Molten Fury and Dragon's Breath and put the extra point in Impact. This build is generally an 2/47/11+1 build. It's the one I used since they added Icy Veins.

So Molten Fury does do well in raid boss fights? Also, I thought Dragon's Breath was more of a PVP thing?

I appreciate the help. As of right now, I have impact for soloing (with my low health at this level, being able to stop the mob from hitting me for a few seconds helps). So I'm assuming that it doesn't do much in raids (wouldn't help warrior tanks anyway, since they need to be hit).

And Kyrin, I believe it was you that had told me that n(what you had replied with) in the other thread as well. I noticed in the build you linked, is my second linked build. This may have just been a mistake. =)

Thanks you two

Molten fury, improved scorch, and empowered/improved fireball are what make a fire mage in 25 man raiding. When you get a boss with over 5 million health, at least 1 million health you do 20% more damage. That would be a flat 4% more damage overall for whole fight even before you figure in the added bonus of using cooldowns during the molten fury range.
