Currently working on getting my raiding gear pulled together so that I can finally hit kara and begin my raiding career, even though with the new expansion on the horizon, it will probably be a somewhat short career.
I'm working on getting the frozen shadoweave set to just start me off since my gear is pretty weak, I've also started farming, well trying to farm both shattered halls and shadow labs for the spellstrike patterns, but until those finally drop for me is there a good helm that will at least give me enough of a stat boost to start running a few heroics at least for some badges?
My spec currently is demo, but plan on respecing to affliction since from what everyone says that's the easier/better raiding spec. Thanks for any info

Other than that, best ones would probably be S2, Evoker's Helm of Second Sight, or if you're Horde, Mag'hari Ritualist Horns. I like Mag'Hari because they're easy as hell - just quests, no money spent on gemming so that you can get Spellstrike earlier, and it's still got good stats despite the lack of sockets.

the engineering helmet is ptretty kick ***, as well.
/agree Oaken - Holo Goggles. Sweet as if you can't get Spellstrike. Expensive to level engineering to 350+ though.
