Just a question. As a "sage" to the forum what exacly does that mean? Ive went through many class forums and noticed the "sages" are extremely undergeared and have no experience in barely any aspects of playing their class.
what gives?

This isn't an extension of WoW. You don't earn points here for getting epix or being promoted to officer. Don't worry about it.

The veiled e-peen activity can stop any time.

This is a discussion forum, not simply a knowledge base. The rating here, as I've said, functions entirely independently of anything a person does/does not do in WoW. You can be a contributor in the Paladin forums here, know your stuff to a reasonable level, bounce over the OOT forum and entertain some people, bounce back to the WoW general forum and share your weekend goals, head on over to the FFXI forums and reminisce with old friends, and then roll a new druid and come here looking for information.

Stop. Think. Then post. Druid forums here on Alla are very friendly and very helpful. Starting your adventure here with, "lolz ur a sage but ur not 1337 liek meh!' is just the wrong foot, ya?

Becoming a Sage in 3 4 easy steps.

1. Read the stickies. They're there for a reason.

2. Make useful and/or entertaining posts.

3. Make an effort to use punctuation, your space bar, and the enter key when you post. l33t 5p34k is generally frowned upon.

4. Be reasonably polite to your fellow posters. Or, at least, don't make a habit of insulting the community.

Two or three is usually enough for scholar. Three or four should get you to sage.

You have also missed the point they may not have the "exp" ? in the class you see the replies but may be in another class they are among the best , as others have said it is a points system here , the better your posts are the more you get up-rated as others have already said and just because someone has not got the best ? gear does not mean they do not know how to play the game properly.

There was once a horde character that got to high level naked , and with a group of naked horde ran through Stormwind and decimated everything in their way i believe, now he was crazy but he did it for fun , the game is not all about having the best gear as i have seen level 70 players with uber gear that have no real idea how to play , and i bet many others have seen the same thing.

The first rule of the Karma Club is: don't talk about the Karma Club.

To paraphrase Tyler Durden.
