For a ret pally, what enchant you guys think is better ?
I tried executiner and savagery. Imo executiner without more armor penetration is just waste of gold. For now Im using savagery again.
I never tried mongoose and I want to know if worth the gold for ret pallies.

For pve mongoose is the best enchant, increased crit + haste on proc. Executioner isn't that great because our dam is a mix of holy and physical(executioner only increasing the physical). I wouldn't bother with mongoose until you have 2.4 badge ax or better tho. Just stick with savagery in the mean time its way more cost effective, deathfrost might be a decent alternative as well since its cheap and has no ICD for melee.

Depends on your stlyle. Mongoose procs quite often, but it might be at a useless time, like on the killing blow in the arena. But when it does proc: ~5.5% extra crit, dodge, slightly higher attack speed and armor (it increases agi by 120 for 15 seconds). If you prefer the reliability of savagery's AP boost that might be for you. I personally love my mongoose enchant for pvp, when it procs you notice the difference.

Once you start to get Armor penetration from pvp gear and rings, you may want to switch to executioner to really stack damage on soft targets. Cloth and leather wearers will drop very fast indeed. I'm not enough of a theorycrafter to know at what level of latent Arm pen you'd want to switch your weapon enchant though.

for pvp, mongoose sucks. executioner is ok, but is proc reliant. savagery is reliable.

for pve, mongoose gets a little better cuz you usually have stand-still fights, yet haste != CS or SoC procs. executioner does less than savagery and mongoose over time. savagery is reliable.

when your AP is somewhere above 2k, savagery takes a backseat to goose. executioner takes over mongoose above 500 arm pen.

Blizz nerfed armor penetration of ret pallies pvp gear, so Im not considering get executioner anymore. I do pve a little too, but Im just afraid to spend tons of gold with mongoose and be frustrated in pvp (thats what I do more).

Wouldn't Major Agility be of use in PvP as well? +35AGI all the time seems like not a bad option.

+35 agility is only really useful for druids and hunters.

Druids and hunters (along with rogues) have a higher agility to crit ratio than other classes. So for a druid 35 agility is 1.4% crit, 35 AP, 70 Armour and a little bit of dodge (almost 2% I think - I havent played my druid in a while :S ).

All a ret pally gets from 35 agility is a little bit of crit and armour. Not worth the loss of 70 AP imo.
