Howdy druids. :)

I've got an up and coming feral alt (looking forward to tanking, and have practiced a bit in lower level instances on my way) who has hit her early 40s and I was wondering if there was a good weapon to grab and slap a good enchant on to carry me to outlands.

I flipped through Atlas loot a bit, but about the only thing I came up with was Morgraine's Might so I was wondering if any of you might have a suggestion on something else to grab or if that is as good as it gets. I'm looking for something mostly for damage since I'll probably be soloing most of the rest of the way to OL, but if it will work for tanking all the better.

Any advice is appreciated.

You've inspired me...new greeting for druids I run into: "Howdy droody!" And when I log in, my hello note in guild chat "It's howdy droody time!"

My advice would be to not worry about it unless you plan on camping out in a bracket for a while for some battleground action. You'll level fast in the 40s, out growing anythign you'd get pretty quickly. And we're just not gear dependent enough to waste time farming for some special piece or spending gold enchanting it. Just take weapons as they come your way via quest rewards, and check the AH if your weapon gets more than 5-6 required levels beneath you. Since you say you'll mostly solo, just look for staves or 2h maces with agility and strength on 'em.

I agree with kawainui. I am Feral spec'd at level 52 and I've been using Ironshod Bludeon for the stat points in strength and stamina. I almost alway fight in cat or bear form so weapon speed and damage aren't relavent. As for how often I swing it I would, in truth, have to say almost never. :)
