So, we have Ret Aura, Blessing of Santuary, and Holy Shield.
What happens when we get PWS put upon us and we are in a fight? Does block get figured in, then damage absored? Does Ret Aura proct, then damage absored? What about Blessing of Santuary? Does PWS just stop it all from happening? Do we have a rite to slap the hand that feeds us (priest healers) about putting PWS upon us?

Depends on when they PWS you. On the pull, slap the taste out their mouths, if you have 20 HP left, let it slide a bit. Honestly, when I played on my priest, I never PWS'd the tank. I'd give it to the DPS who had an itchy trigger finger so they had an extra few seconds to hit their aggro reducing abilities.

No...it stops reactive threat :P..I love yelling at preists for throwing it on me before every pull...after I've got threat, I dont mind it, but still prefer to keep threat coming in and just take heals.

Its the lack of mana being regenerated that bothers me. PWS is aprox 1500 dam i could've taken which means i would've gotten 150 mana from being healed that amount. It adds up, especially if you're being shielded more than on the opening pull. And it only stops ret aura/thorns if the attack does no dam to you. If you block, BoSanc+HS still do normal reflective dam to the attacker.
